I’m not saying Sanchez should be in that list but he has done extremely well for his first sesaon. It took both Lamela and Son more than a season to perform how he has. Now before I have the “corrective police” quoting me, I kno they play in different positions. The point I was making was having such a good impact for a new player, especially at his age

Betting without the favourite
it's probably Verts given the absence of Toby.
However Eriksen has real pedigree
and we don''t function properly without him.
Son is an also ran in this company.

And the race is only half run.
Bookies don't pay out at this stage.

A difficult question.

It’s hard to overlook Kane, but I would say over the whole season so far Jan has definitely been the most consistent.

To further confuse the matter, I’d say Eriksen is more important to our team than Jan.

So I guess my answer is fuck knows?:D.

Kane, his achievements are just incredible.

Vertonghen a worthy runner up.

Eriksen has gone missing a few games, just like Son. Kane is there for most of them but Vertonghen for consistency and oozing class shades it for me. Jan the Man

Has to be Kane but Jan couldn’t be playing any better than he is, amazing season from him.

Gotta be Harry, he is having his best season for us, and reached a new level as a player. Verts has been insane too, but just cos we are use to excellence with Harry doesn't mean he don't deserve it.

Voting is open! Still can't decide between Eriksen and Vertonghen. Swaying towards Jan at the moment.

I can’t remember a time Jan has individually let us down this season (can’t blame him for the mistakes our defence as a whole make). The other three have failed to turn up a few times, but Eriksen’s influence in games is almost always there even when he isn’t assisting/scoring.

Should be Verts by a landslide.

Vertonghen. A constant in an ever-changing backline and has been in absolute command all season long.

Vertonghen. At leasst a nine out of ten every week.

second Eriksen - Our most influential attacker.

third - Harry - just keeps scoring but not quite as consistent as Jan and not missed as much as Eriksen when he's absent.

SUUUPA, SUPA JAN, SUUUPA, SUPA JAN, SUUUPA, SUPA JAN, SUPA JAN VERTONGHEN

I think it has to be Jan, he's been class in near enough every game.

Interesting that Kane has only won it in his breakthrough year 14-15', with Eriksen winning last year and Toby the year before.

Kane probably had the highest scoring season from a Spurs player in the prem era in the last two years and this season too - but no player of the year award.

Do we just have a lot of good players or are we taking him for granted a little??

I think it's the former. Often when judging player of the year there is an element of expectation involved.

We now expect Kane to hit 20+ so unless he performs better than his previous showings he is less likely to get player of the season even if he wins the golden boot.

Jan or me though. Has been consistently excellent. Both in his individual performances and helping a young defender in his first season in the Prem.
