I don't think Aurier is to bad going forward - defensively though he is all over the place - when he first played my impression was that in order to make up for his weaknesses he relied on agression which can be fine - for me he has no positional sense or intelligence and thouhg for a full back to change to a wing back it is difficult, suddenly he is not taking his lead from the centre backs and he gets lost not knowing whether to go or stay and so often he ends up doing neither. He might improve in time but I have to say I don't fancy him as a player at the moment he seems to be one step from a moment of stupidity and he doesn't look to me to be able to solve his problems on the pitch, though neither does Trippier where as our current best full back albeit a left back Davies has done really well in that area

You say that about Aurier and suggest he doesn't look able to improve upon his mistake- to me it's very unfair to come so rapidly to such conclusion when you take into account it being a new concept, new league- with Poch coaching, why would you think Davies can improve and not Aurier?

One of the most improved players I now have to hold my hand up and say I've been proved wrong is Vertonghen. I really believed he was a liability at CB for many season and much preferred him playing as a left wing back as he did for the majority of his first season at Spurs.
