Musa Yahaya
Milos Veljkovic
Cameron Carter-Vickers

All involved in U 20 World Cup.

CCV on TV live now. USA vs Colombia. All action game. CCV just made a great goal saving defensive block.

Veljkovic's Serbia just beat Hungary with 10 men after extra time. Live on TV earlier. Through to quarter final.

Yahaya and Nigeria play Germany on Sunday.
What channel were you watching this on?

Slept through the match but sounds like the US were clear 2nd best all match and the clean sheet was down to Steffen, and the CB partnership of CCV and Miazga. Not surprising. CCV is a rock. Miazaga's been very good for his MLS side and Steffen's not a bad keeper at all. Think the 3-0 loss vs Ukraine, the US made a few changes to the back line and dropped Miazga and Payne.

Anyway, a huge, gutsy win for the US. This team truly is a youth version of the senior team, lol. To go from picking up 1 point in group play at the U20 WC 2 years ago to getting to the QF's this year is no small feat. Hope we beat Serbia and get through to the semis but it'll be extremely tough.

That's all about right.

Having seen Serbia play too I reckon USA will win the quarter final.

I don't know. I've recorded but not watched Serbia's game against Hungary but they have reputation for being a solid unit. Last game I saw they looked relaly good too. Also USA have struggled against the only 2 decent footballing naitons they have faced. No disrespect to Myanmar and NZ. Their midfield and strikers struggled to create chances against Ukraine and 1st half against Columbia there was nothing between em the CCV and Miazaga did a really good job. I fell asleep 2nd half though, so don't know how US performed. Glad they went through, but Serbia will be difficult for them and may be slight favourties.

Agree about US' keeper I didn't even see his 2nd half performance, but before that I thought he looked a good keeper. Got something about him I like.

His distribution was awful in the game vs Ukraine. Ukraine were dominating in the air, and he kept waiving the CB's away when they came short and just hoofed it forward, putting the USA under unnecessary pressure and inviting wave after wave of attack with little rest for the USA defence.
