It is.

There was some bad blood a few years ago, particularly when he made joking tweets about Landon Donovan being left off the 2014 World Cup squad. Looks like that's blown over now, and he's apparently quite a good keeper.

Always like him, but must admit he hasn't looked very mobile when he's stepped up to the pace of first team football. Admittedly he's had very few appearances, so I might be being a bit harsh on the kid.

What are people's thoughts?

Concede three goals without him, clean sheet with him in the team. England played much worse when Onomah was dropped.

Correlation does not imply causation. Football doesn't work like that, not in this case anyway.

Did we fail to win 24 games because Gareth Bale was selected in those games? Definitely not, yet we have 24 pieces of data to say otherwise.

Hopefully he will continue to get good opportunities this season and we keep him so he can be long-term successor to Toby.
