Agent Bayram Tutumlu (Michael Laudrups agent) claims that Eriksen has reached out to him asking for a move to Barcelona. Tutumlu also claims that Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu is keen on bringing Eriksen to Barcelona.

According to metro.co.uk
Not saying it's def legit, but how can an agent lie about visiting Eriksen's house and all the other stuff the article quotes him saying? I mean, must be quite a dickhead to just make that up!

I think there was some chat about this the other day in the transfer wishlist thread - the guy is a self serving dickhead if I followed it properly.

It was mentioned at the time that where the original report came from would eventually be picked up by the shitwrags over here and reported.

C'est la vie.

Other than Toby of course, I think it's clear that Eriksen is the player we're most likely to lose "against our will". Foreign player, given us five years of service, has continued to improve, now aged 26 and entering what should be the peak years of his career...I'd expect him to want to go if there's a chance of moving to one of Europe's giants. I remember before he signed his last contract in 2016 and it was rumoured that he wanted £100k a week and half our fan base said we should get rid of him as he wasn't worth it. I guess he'd have people willing to pay a lot more than that now...

Having said that, I'd be surprised to see Barca cough up the kind of money Levy would want for him, especially after they just signed Coutinho who plays in his position. Unless they are planning on getting rid of Rakitic and playing him deeper?

If we were to lose Eriksen we would be hard pressed to find a steady replacement. He would catch a very nice sum, but he would be very hard to replace.

That said, I don't think he is a starter every game at some of these clubs mentioned. Would that be attractive to him? Go and be a non-starter just to win some trophies? Probably...

Genuinely worried about losing him. Today must've felt depressing for him. He can't score, assist, create and dictate all on his own.

Rose, Dembele, Toby leaving... sucks, sure, but we can move on. Eriksen is irreplacable.

I think next season will be his last. He will want to win trophies and move on. Wouldnt begrudge him that.

Looking at his body language against Brighton and again yesterday I fear his head has been spun.

Someone's been tapping him up - prob RM.

I utterly love the guy, our best footballer since Modric, and I want him to stay forever. But I really feel he'll be the subject of some colossal bids this summer.

It's pivotal that we keep Eriksen. He's intrumental to how we play and among the best playmakers in the world in my opinion. Even if we get loads of money by selling him it will be nearly impossible to replace him. We don't have the stature or money to sign truly world class players. So for every world class player we sell we instantly lose quality in the squad. Just give Eriksen, Kane and the rest of our best players the wage they deserve. It's a lot easier than finding similar players on the transfermarket that's for sure. I just don't want a new Toby / Walker saga with Eriksen.

Without Eriksen we are pretty ordinary. Kane yeah he’s a goal machine (normally) but Eriksen makes us tick. For me he has to be on similar pay to Kane.

the ITK this evening from Hercules suggests reasons to be concerned...could be a long and tough summer

I always expected him to be off this summer or next, can’t blame him.

Any obvious replacements out there we could get?

If there is something happening - Levy needs to make that 'statement signing', get everyone back on side with this project. Drag it out and we are at real risk of losing these players

As a Tottenham fan their really aren't many periods in time where we're allowed to be happy.

You'll be waiting a long time. Levy has never made a "statement signing" and I doubt he's going to start now.
