i cant see where he would go, italy is a no no, cant see us selling in this country, leaves Barca, Real M and PSG
PSG are struggling with FFP and have to buy Mbappe for 170m, Cant see Real buying him, doesnt fit there brief and Barca dont have 100m plus to spend on another AM

I think he'll probably end up at Real Madrid tbh.

I remember reading something a few years ago about how he grew up a Barca supporter and had been working to ensure his career could develop where he could one day play for Barca.

Obviously in the end money and opportunity has shown that it can change peoples minds but i would think that if Eriksen is indeed looking at possibly moving and his choices are the Spanish giants that his Barca would have an advantage.

Personally i think he would also be a better fit for the Barca squad than Real.

Of course who the hell knows...maybe he ends up at PSG or some other club.

All i know is that if we do end up losing him it would be a massive loss for us.

Could “watch the Eriksen contract situation” mean he’s close to signing a new contract with us??

If it was the sale of him, not sure it would be worded as a contract situation.

Optimistic rating myself

PSG may sell Neymar to Real and besides they don’t seem bothered by the FFP fines.

Most won't like it, but yes, likely to be James Maddison.

Therein lies the problem. We should be looking to get a player in like Maddison as back up to Eriksen ( or possibly to play with him on occasion ). Not as a direct replacement.

Of course it could, but we’re conditioned to assume bad news as Spurs fans.

As I said earlier, either he’s close to sign a new deal or he’s rejected our offer and we have another Toby situation.

I cant see us selling Eriksen. What signal would that send? If RM or Barca come knocking Levy better use every trick in the book to fend them off.

Ha, just picture losing Eriksen, Toby, Rose, Dembele and wanyama. Total meltdown.

That would be a shockingly bad summer. I think at the most, three of those five will be off.
I don't believe Eriksen will go this Summer. Nor Wanyama.
Who knows, though. Will be interesting for sure.
Levy has SERIOUSLY gotta earn his pay rise this summer.

We shouldn't be perceived as a club holding players back out of spite. It can hurt our long term prospects of attracting talent. In fact, it's probably better to be perceived as the club that if you work hard, you go to Real Madrid or Barcelona. Now, if the club would be able to come up with a competing offer that a player would be satisfied with and he would chose to stay at Spurs because it was his preference, great. We all would prefer that. But if it is not to happen, I don't want the club to hold players back just because it can. We are big enough that we shouldn't have to force players to stay, but rather present them with a tangible offer they can chose to accept or not.

Totally agree...it'd be wrong of Spurs to hold Sissoko back.
