Most technically gifted player since Hoddle.

Keep under any circumstances.

I would not want players not good enough for Real or Barca in some kind of cash plus player swap .
I say make them pay the going rate and that will allow Poch to buy the player or players that he really wants.

Zyiech got a hat trick and and assist on his return from Injury this weekend. He is having an incredible season. By far the most obvious and likely affordable option if Eriksen goes. I would be tempted to try and get him even if he stays. He looks the real deal this campaign. So far he has 10 goals and 7 assists in 12 league games. He has also already said that this will be his last season at Ajax, originally he was going to leave last summer but they persuaded him to stay one more season.

We all love Eriksen but there is no doubt that he has played himself into a position of being courted by the biggest & best clubs in the world and I can't begrudge that. By the end of the season he'll have been here 5 years and at 26 he's hitting his prime. He deserves to be winning Champions Leagues and League titles somewhere and if that can't be here then we need to let him go for the right price.

I desperately hope he stays but if I could I would shake his hand and wish him luck on his way, I just hope it's not to Real Madrid. I'm sick of us giving them our best players year on year.

It's a bit like the Coutinho at Liverpool situation. LFC fans didn't handle it well but he'd been playing at a level that warranted a move to Barca and LFC got seriously good money for him. They've recovered just fine off the back of it and we will too if we use the money properly. As it goes he's not doing all that well for them and Eriksen should consider that. He has a good thing going here and can hopefully see the progress being made and how close we are to doing something special. For him I guess it comes down to the fact that he probably 6 more years at the top level and does he think Spurs can break through and win a CL or PL in that time. It's possible but is it likely, I'm not so sure.

One thing to consider, when we sold Bale we all felt like he was going to be impossible to replace but one of the players we replaced him with was........yep.....Christian Eriksen.

If we have to sell him then we will find a replacement. He may not be like for like but we will recover.

It sounds like it may well be Real Madrid as his dream move but they already have players in his position not getting game time so he should be wary. Especially with how badly they're doing right now.

Also worth noting that Isco is potentially looking to leave RM again. Some sort of swap deal (however unlikely) would be worth looking in to.

With the way they're playing right now my bigger concern at this point would be losing both Poch AND Eriksen to those fuckers in Madrid. Imagine the horror.

Eriksen would be incredibly hard to replace in our team. That would be a massive blow no matter who we replaced him with.
Agreed. It’s not so much his individual talents, it’s the fact that he, Kane and Alli just naturally work perfectly together. You could add Son to that, too. I’ts hard to coach that, it takes time, and some combinations just never work out.

Good timing with our new stadium. The consensus is that Eriksen will either renew or be sold in the summer, so he will have half a season with the crowd convincing him to stay :singing:(y)

Honestly we should shop at Ajax every season.

Agree. I have watched most Ajax games this season and this guy is special. He's a little skinny, but his technique is exceptional. He is a fantastic finisher and reads the game very well. He runs Ajax's attack. Granted the league isn't very good at all, but this lad should be more highly touted in my opinion. I guess it's because he's not as young as Jong and Ligt. Still. Would be an excellent purchase, and like most Ajax players, he can play in many different positions. Oh, and he's left footed and we really need more left footed players.
