Is anyone expert enough to translate this for me? Keep getting it in texts from family, friends and associates

He’s made 6 appearances in Ligue 1. How can you possibly know that?!? :D

Don't think there's anything wrong with saying the player has plenty of potential based on those figures. He could easily be a player that everybody bemoans us not signing in a couple of windows time. There's plenty of moaning that we didn't sign Ndombele and Lo Celso a couple of seasons ago and Camavinga could maybe be a similar scenario, albeit he's much younger than either of them.

Confirmation bias at its best though. I remember when Diego Capel was the guy we just had to sign.

Not that I'm against taking stabs at young players, but I'm under no illusion that we can pick up close to world class players regularly - like N'Dombele and Lo Celso.

Such a shame we missed out on Brandt early on the window to Dortmund. Was widely confirmed we were in for him and I think he'd have been that player.

100%. Sucks that it’s so difficult to land German players. He was my #1 target at start of window. Was so cheap for his skill set and would have provided tons of optionality. I hope we were very aggressive and he just wanted to stay in Germany, because he’d have been perfect as an Eriksen replacement.

I would love to see Havertz in a Spurs shirt however i think that ship has already sailed. They both would have been amazing additions.

I think Eriksen's perceived "poor" form* last season was due to combination of being overplayed and being played much deeper out of necessity due to a lack of cover.

*Joint 3rd top Premier League assists, 8 goals (4th top for Spurs)

Didn't we have some info from one of the ITKs saying that Poch thought the same thing?

James has been fully reintegrated by Zidane and is starting today. Can't see them coming in for Eriksen now, so the questions are whether any other club he'd want will make a move for him, and if not whether he's still willing to sign a new contract as he indicated in that infamous interview over the summer.

The fact that we had ITK that he was ready to re-sign but was put off by Madrid saying they may still be interested makes me hopeful. If he gets a definitive answer that Zidane doesn't want him hopefully he'll commit himself to Spurs.

We basically needed to sign a young playmaker with high chance creation 12-18 months ago, so this was less of an issue.

Makes me even more annoyed that Leicester got Maddison and Perreira. Two players who would solve both of our headaches.

1, Maddison wouldn't of signed, he turned us down to go to Norwich for 1st team football

2, after his text I doubt he is much of a fan of us as a club

3, yes he would of got plenty of matches if he joined us from Norwich, but he wants to be 1st choice, and rotating with Eriksen might of been a problem when he is 1st choice at another club

so don't think signing Maddison last season would of solved a problem because he comes over as a bit of a dick, and if being rotated gave him the hump, then no guarantee he would of performed

He probably read that on here as it has been stated many times.

Ive said it many times and for many years (and Eriksen's stats had killed my case in a way) I came up with the idea that he isnt a game changer but a really great facillitator. He is technically very good and would have fit a quality team like Bayern as a cog in the wheel.
But never saw him as super creative with the bite of a winner that would make things happen despite anything. He seemed like a victim or hero to the situation .
