Have you ever seen Eriksen just take out a player in a cynical way? I remember against City he should've gone in on KDB and just let him wriggle past and last night just before Davies took out Traore he stuck the most feeble of legs out. He has absolutely no conviction in his tackling.

Tackling clearly isn't a big part of his game but he puts in a shift and is no passenger unlike many playing his role.

Stand by what I said last week, been poor for too long. Barca won't go near him, tbh I don't care if we flog him.

Short term memory on you. He is just another player suffering from the World Cup like Kane, Son and Alli in our Squad alone.

Anyone questioning why we don't look like the spurs of old only needs to look at Eriksens form. When he plays well, we play well.

He hasn't played well in ages and goes missing in big games. He's not a bad player, anybody worried he's off to Barca can relax, they won't go near him.

Goes missing in big games yet scored against Real Madrid, Juve, City x2, Chelsea, & ManU last year.

Scored against Inter, setup 2 goals against PSV first time tie as well.

The goes missing in big games labelled at Eriksen has to be amongst the most dumbest and frustrating things a Spurs fan could ever say, it makes my teeth fucking itch. :banghead:

Real Madrid - Scores when we're already 2-0 up and Madrid are leaving gaps
Juventus - Scores a free kick, had to eventually score one didn't he?
City (h) - Ball hits him and goes in
City (a) - Scores at 0-4
Chelsea - Good goal but ultimately a 1 in 100 shot

Not sure how any of those prove he turns up in the big games given Alli gets criticised when he does fuck all but scores. You've conveniently forgot to mention he gave away the ball at the end of the PSV game which cost us.

If the team plays well when one player plays well then that's even more reason why we can't be carrying his can't be arsed attitude. I would argue that it's actually the opposite and he plays well when the team does. When the other players are allowing him to be the creative player then he looks a lot better than when he has to do any dirty work, something he has proven time and time again he is incapable of. I couldn't care less how much he runs, it's pointless running for the most part and Paula Radcliffe would be much cheaper on wages.

The positive for Eriksen is the European style is suited to his game so he would shine in Italy or Spain more than he does here. Let's be honest, he wouldn't even get near City's team when KDB is fit, they're in different classes.

I feel like Eriksen is one of our most consistent performers, and has been for a few seasons now. Just because he isn't scoring or assisting goals at the moment doesn't mean he is underperforming. He has started something like two games since being out for a month. Combine that with the year he's had with spurs and denmark during the summer, it's a wonder he isn't more fatigued than he is in my opinion.

He has been for sure. But he has been without doubt poor this season. He has more credit in the locker than most though

On my hospital Ward there are a fair few Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea tops. To be fair to the Arsenal & Chelsea fans they are bad at times but there is one Liverpool guy that is just simply deluded. If I have to hear about winning 5 European Cups I swear I'm going to strangle him with his IV line or put a pillow of his head after lights out tonight *LOL Thankfully I got this today in the post. My sister is bringing it up this evening. My Hematology Consultant is an Arsenal fan too. Can't wait to show this off tonight to all the men on my ward ☺☺☺???
