Can't see what he's said, that doesn't apply to all of em'. It's just he's come out and said it. None of the players can say with 100% certainty, that they'll be at the club next season.
I think he'll still be with us next season imo, but who knows. If not, we'd need a top quality replacement to fill his boots, because he just started to look like he was getting back to somewhere near his best.

I sometimes wish he'd be less loose lipped to the media but love the guy ever since THAT goal against the Arse.

I'd much rather have him and forgive the odd indiscretion than someone who doesn't even know who we are playing next (love ya really Benny!).

We aren’t going to sign anyone better at leftback and it isn’t a priority position, this window, anyway.

He probably just wants a new contract. We had itk about that and now he’s sounding off in the media. That’s all it’s about. The whole age thing is nonsense and a red herring.

Rose just says what everyone is thinking so I don't see the need to have a go at him, seems like people only like straight talkers when it benefits them for example when he stuck it to Ruud Gullit why didn't people speak out against that?

i think he misunderstood what gullit said.

What did gullit say?

he said something like he couldn't believe how bad some of our players were technically like rose, wanyama and dele but if you listen to what he said in full it was clear he was only talking about their performance on the night(the 1st leg vs ajax). rose took it as him saying they're bad technically full stop but gullit even said before that that he watches them week in week out so he knows they're good players and that's why he was so shocked.

Gullit has previous for Tottenham dislike. Absolute blagger of a manager too. All that talent as a player and yet still has a bitter streak. Weird fella

Basically what I’m saying is, fuck Ruud Gullit

We have enough issues to address in the squad without having to replace Danny Rose as well.
Would be classic Spurs to make some unreal signings, sell Rose and leave Davies as the only left back.

Selling him is madness, absolute madness. He's 95% of the way back to his 16/17 self.

I think he’s a bit further away from his best personally, but he’s definitely trending back in the right direction.

His final ball still lets him down, but this was always his Achilles Heel anyway even at his best.

As has been said, to upgrade on him would cost a lot of money. Money that badly needs to be directed elsewhere.

His ability shouldn't be the only reason he needs to be kept. He's one of a very small minority within our squad who is willing to put his body on the line, I'd always back him in a 50-50. You remove Rose and Lamela from our team and we become a team of technically sound pussys.

Danny Rose is an exceptional player and role model. It would be stupid to let him go to be honest unless he wants to go

My mate's brother ran into him at Ibiza airport this morning. Looks like Danny boy has got a few more days of R&R lined up!

Fuck me, that's just ridiculous. He's not even a very good player, unless absolutely 100% on top form - which happened for the last 6-8 games last season and for one whole season the year he was Englands no.1 left back. The other 8 years he's been decent enough but my God, exceptional is not a word to be using about him. Hard working and committed but end product basically useless 95% of the time.

I think maybe you are thinking too much in an attacking sense.

Rose even when not 100% is still a bloody good defender, it's hard to think of a LB that is better in that regard.
