I'm not so sure.

That's just going to unnecessarily handicap the team and I can't see Poch wanting to do that, we need Danny despite his comments and until we get an adequate replacement he needs to play. I dunno Poch is smart man so I can't see him not playing him.

Agreed.

Would only want to sell Rose if

Luke Shaw + a lot of cash was included in the deal and
Pochettino was confident that Luke Shaw would get fully Spurs fit and back to his best form.

I really don't get the Luke Shaw love in with our fans. He's a busted flush after too many injuries. Watching him in that under 21s game earlier this season showed us that. So slow and flat footed now.

Is he not seen as more of a forward now ? Also don't know if hes actually amazing, but there seems to be a lot of hype around Keiran Tierney, would be an interesting option.

To be fair even if he is seen as a forward out full backs dont exactly sit deep and wait they attack.

I agree but was more thinking about January, don't think we'll go for either deal until the summer.

Nobody will buy Rose in January unless he fully recovers, gets match fit, pushes Davies out of the team and puts in a run of outstanding performances. We certainly wouldn't sell him cheap because he's been injured for 10 months and nobody will pay what we value him at in January.

There’s one shot of Rose on getty training today where he looks very podgy.Might Just have few layers on but wasn’t that cold today. If that shot is just one layer he looks at least a stone overweight.

We had our best run of form last season with Davies in the team and Rose out injured. Davies has been one of our best players so far this season. Rose has been out for a very long time, and who knows how he's actually going to recover, not to mention where things really are with him, the squad, the management.
We are best when they are competing hopefully we can have a run in the champions league so both will be needed

No doubt he will play a part. Not sure he will be first choice again though.

See Walker/Trippier end of last season for details (not just opinion on my part).

Yeah I see, didn't think it was likely he'd be completely left out but I agree that Poch will put Davies first before Rose.

Come on Rose has been out 8 months and our results have been fantastic. We Literally couldn’t have done anymore in league after he was out.The title was lost while he was in the team.Apart from fact Davies has been great ,if we got £50m I’d be fine with that.Knowing we can get someone in,Plus the fact KWP can cover LB and we have a couple of very promising LB in youth. My feeling is he won’t be same player anyway after this injury.Plus he looks well out of shape.Compare that with Lamela who looks fighting fit.Tells you everything about attitude.
