Stop being so generous, there are no 'jokes' here, its singular, one joke, the same recycled joke over and over and over again.

re the bold bit: are u ok?
If anyones getting upset here its you mate.
Certainly not upset but thank you sincerely for your concern, just don't see the point in mincing my words for people.

I think it is a fairly good time for Danny to take stock...

His comments probably seem a little silly now, having made his comeback from injury at the Bernabeu in the CL during an accomplished away performance against the reigning champions of Europe.
Its not all that bad, even on only *£50k a week (*guess)

I'll support him while he's in the team but understandably he's burnt his bridges with a lot of our fan base, myself included. And don't be under illusions, this saga is clearly not over. It's a world cup year so he needs to be playing, it makes sense for him to keep everyone on side so he gets games to make it back into England squad. I don't think he will think anything about kicking up a stink again in the summer to get a move and get paid what he's 'worth'.

As I said, it makes sense from Danny's side to keep everything cool. He doesn't want to be ostricised as that will mean less game time and therefore less chance of going to the world cup

Rose has been a great player for us, he made a mistake and has apologised time to move on!! I know someone who knows him and I am told he is a genuine guy...

I really can't take this ridiculous whining about nothing...

He made a mistake? loiooool. He came across as a selfish, self-entitled prick. As well as a bit thick if he really thought mouthing off in the press was gonna get him what he wanted. I'm sorry but I can't forgive a guy who disrespected the club, fans and his team mates like that.

He knew exactly what he was doing and he fucked up! If you remember his apology it was more along the lines of "I apologise for the timing of the comments" he didn't actually apologise for what he said. That tells me he is still set on moving as he isn't going to be getting 140k-150k from Levy.

As I said, I will support him when he's in the team but fully expect him to be moved on at the end of the season.

"Oh look at me, I'm such a great fan, I'm trying to censor other fans right to joke about the most ridiculous media interview ever related to the club".:stop:

Mate support him as long as he is at the club that's it up to Poch when and if he leaves... Personally I was delighted the away fans sang his name in Madrid...

Let me see if i understand this... We can slag him off when he reaches the age of 30 and starts to slow down and becomes ineffective to the team....we can demand he be sold and not honour his contract.

He just cannot attempt to engineer a move to a club willing to pay him what he thinks he is worth, in the peak of his short career. Neither can he express himself on his wishes....

Btw his comments havent affected team morale, has it?

Modern day footballers. Nobody needs to take them too seriously imo. Some are badly advised, and some don't think enough before speaking publicly.

No point reading into it too much. Whilst they pull on the Spurs shirt, and give their all on the pitch, that's all what really matters.

I like the idea posted last page that we could play Rose and Davies together at times, seriously.
