Keep Rose, the best left back in the league.

Lloris
Aurier-Jan-Toby-Rose

I'd be happy with the above back 5.

He’s either playing a clever game or has had a change of heart and realises how good he has it here. I said the other day that a fit Rose is an asset to the squad - I’ll never like him like I used to but he still has a part to play if he’s at it.

Either changed his mind or realised that due to his poor form since his injury he's not getting that big-money move this summer either way. Unless he absolutely smashed it at the WC I can't see the likes of City or Utd being willing to pay the massive money we'll want for him now.

If he does decide to stay it will be a vindication of Poch's policy of softly dropping players who are not singing from the spurs hymn sheet.

All depends on Pochettino now. Once you’ve crossed him, is there a way back?

Has Poch already, in his own mind, spent the money we’d get from a potential Rose sale?

I hope not. If we get back to playing the system that Rose prefers, I know we’ll see the best LB in England once again.

Sounds like a bloke who's realised that nobody richer than us actually wants him now.

Still pretty righteously indignant about the shite he spouted in that interview.

I'll cheer for him as long as he plays for us, but I'll never forget the clearly very little regard he has for us.

Fully fit Rose could be awesome. The team needs his fighting spirit. MU cooled their interest some reports say. So maybe he's had a change of heart.

Hope so. Be great news. Just need Poch to persuade Toby to change his mind too now and our defence is sorted for next season.

I'm excited if he is to return, it was so clear how much he bring to our offense on Sunday. This makes me want to do the Sessegnon deal more now. Let him be the understudy for a year or loan him back to Fulham. He wouldn't be forced into action and we could pick and choose his spots at wingback.

It would be great if we could get another season or two out of him. If he's played well enough that a bigger club wants him at the end of that time then he can go. Win win situation

Oh right, let's get a marketable interview with Sissoko next. "Pochettino taught me so much, and I'm ready to take the new skills and embrace new challenges".

Well yeh, He either stays here or goes to Everton. Since coming back from his injury he has mostly been awful, and looks a different player than before. He was good the other day, much better, but against West Brom he was horrifically bad.

A lot of players never fully recover from those kind of layoffs and Rose's age is against him. If he stays I wish him well, but if he stays he needs to step up next season, and fight for his place and prove we made the right decision keeping him.
