Two things:

Is Danny Rose alive?

Mendy mentioned above. Worst player on the pitch in our match with city. They have unlimited funds and still have a stinker.
Don't know that anyone would consider Mendy a stinker. Maybe he didn't have a great game, but he's played really well this season as been highlighted by several pundits. He's also just coming off a knee injury which are historically tough on footballers.

He absolutely had a stinker, the problem is we didn't capitalise on his mistakes. He is a very decent player though.

Yeah player had 1 bad game and suddenly he's shit, lol love the logic.

mendy is obviously a good player and one of the best LB's in the league, Danny has some way to go to reach him, he needs to get fit for starters.

Yes they have and yet some numpties think shifting Trippier is a good idea.
And Rose.
And Davies.
And Aurier as he's obviously not up to it.
Squad wise we've still got very good fullbacks compared to other clubs.
Who are these full backs we can afford who improve us?
Or hasn't anyone thought that far ahead.

Probably upset the natives again with this post but fk 'em lol (not butt fk them. That's completely different).
Shifting Trippier would be a good idea as his defense consistenly disappoints and he is likely to fetch the biggest sum. We have 2 other players I think a lot of us would like to see more of in that position as well.

Rose is crocked and Davies is as average as it gets. Why is it so wrong to have the opinion that we should be looking for better? We played our best football with 2 fullbacks bombing the field all day long and stretching the opposition. We should look to go back to that style of play. Trippier and Davies just flat out cannot do it due to their physical limitations.

There is no other top team that play with fullbacks as slow as ours.

I was responding to that he was saying he is a stinker.

a few good games doesn't make him a class act. He has one of the easiest jobs in world football and sticks out like a sore thumb. He will be gone by the end of next season as he has been found out.

'A few good games' lol what? We're talking about one of the best left backs in Europe in 2016/17 and a player who is statically the best LB in the league this season, stop making stuff up just to force a point, it's nonsense.

I'm getting worried, he might be joining Dembele and Wanyama as a permanent crocked player. Thoughts he was getting back towards best at start of season, and now injuries holding him back again. We could definitely use a fit Danny Rose right now

Is his heart really in it is the question i would ask again. Seems to be injured a lot and sometimes it’s easier to stay injured than play.

Got the lowest rating again :
Benjamin Mendy

Looks great storming forward but he needs to start cutting out the careless defensive mistakes that have started to creep into his game. 6

I don't think he can cope with the Premier League. When even Southampton force errors you know you have problems.

According to Whoscored he is the highest rated Left back in the Prem this season.

That and with Walker being widely recognised as the best Right Back it says a lot about the general quality of fullbacks these days. Neither Walker or Mendy can hold a candle to say Cyril Knowles or Joe Kinnear or Phil Beal.

Totally different players playing in a different era to be fair.

That ain't true. Nostalgia's a great thing, but I remember standing in the Park Lane, ealy 70's and watching Terry Cooper of Leeds, destroy that whole defence time and again with his runs down the wing, and turning inside when he wanted. We had no one to counter his pace.

He had Eddie Gray on that left side to help, but didn't need him much. Giles had a field day. Could have done with a Kyle Walker that day. Think we have a better defence now than we did then.

And when Cooper was gone, Frank Grey came onto the scene and the brothers brought havoc to every other team.
