He's been with us for 12 years, and has been responsible for so many iconic, defining moments for us. From his breathtaking debut, to his scintillating performance last night.

I do worry he still looks like he's suffering from depression a bit. Yeah he celebrates in the moment but in the pics of the team after he seems a bit neutral and his comments about not loving football and wanting to leave the game are a little worrying. I hope he's over it although depression can be something that people suffer with for years. He's been amazing the last few weeks and given everything for the team.
How does he look like he’s suffering from depression? We are all different. He may not of celebrated as much as others. Different personalities. Some people are quiet, some loud. Some confident, some shy. It doesn’t mean he’s suffering from depression ffs. Played really well recently apart from his crossing which has never been any good but he massively occupies anyone defending on their right side and causes them constant harassment. Twice the player trippier is.

Rosey is a rare breed, no social media, straight honest talker, private guy, no brand, as real as you can get, hope we don't lose him

Letting him go is foolish. He’s been very good the past few weeks. Given the difficult period we’ve been through, he’s never been more important.

Keep!

Also that guardian article he casually dropped that poch has promised them something if we win and said he’d tell us after the final!

You are making a connection between playing badly and depression where none exists. I said he's been playing really well. However he has come out previously and said he suffered from depression. If he hadn't made that public comment I'd never have said what I said. It is just small things like that he has fallen out of love with football, other comments recently. I have a family member that has suffered for years with depression and a couple of friends who have struggled with it. My comment was made with concern and love for the guy and yes he is twice the player Trippier is, doesn't mean he couldn't be suffering still though.

Danny has spoken at length about how he suffers from depression. He manages it extremely well, and it is important people understand it and aren't afraid to talk about it. It's been discussed plenty in this very thread.

Bit slippery of him to make out he is the hapless victim in the Guardian today . 'I keep reading I'm going to be sold' he says

As if it isn't 100% him who is pushing to move . Unimpressed .
Like Poche and his curt, sarcastic response to being asked if he's going to leave, after just getting to the CL final, I imagine Danny is mocking the press.

If Leeds comes up it wouldn't surprise me if they and Danny would push for a transfer.
Would be deserved and well timed to be honest.

Ok well seeing Danny deliver this line I didn't feel there was any amount of sarcasm/mockery going on .It wasn't in response to a media question 'Are you going to leave ' where did you get that idea ?

Does anyone here still believe that Danny hasn't been pushing for a move ? Firstly during his injury outburst and secondly among the 'various players' that Poch said asked to leave last summer . Does anyone believe the club is genuinely trying to get rid of Danny ?

To me this was , within 10 minutes of a great Spurs triumph, Danny putting himself in the shop window by implying that the club wants to push him out . I've not seen any media saying he's 'being sold' , but if there has been this hasn't come from the club .

Where might this rumour have come from do we think ?

My allegiance is 100% to Spurs the club and I don't like to see what I believe to be incorrect implications such as this against it .
