As far fetched as that sounds, I'd really like to see him back there.
I think it would be good for him.
If he's been struggling with mental health then that is the most important thing. Home would be good for him and I'd back him wholly if it means he is happier.

The thing is though, hasn’t he said in the press recently that he constantly hears stories saying we are trying to sell him? Saying we tend to start selling players approaching their 30’s or words to that effect?

Implying it’s us trying to sell him rather than him wanting to go back up north for his well-being.

I really don’t know what to believe is going on with this situation.

The way I'm looking at it is that THIS is the beginning of Phase 2 with Poch. Whoever is here is here and let's start from zero.

We thank those that move on for their service.

Ultimately though he slagged the club off so are we selling for that reason or because of his age?

All speculative of course but Vertonghen and Lloris are still here so we well never know.

All heart but made poor choices running to The Sun after Walker moved on..I do wish him all the best though regardless

Sky say PSG are in for him - £20m.

PSG LEADING RACE FOR ROSE

Paris Saint-Germain head a list of clubs keen to sign Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

The England defender wants to fight for a first team place next season – but will consider leaving North London if a sufficiently attractive opportunity comes along.

Sky Sports News understands that Tottenham will be looking to recoup £20m for the left-back, whom they bought from Leeds for £1m in 2007.

Bundesliga team Schalke are also understood to be keen on signing the 29-year old defender, who has been left out of Spurs' tour to Singapore to explore transfer possibilities.

Spurs are interested in signing Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon if Rose leaves the club.

Trippier to At. Madrid and Rose to PSG. Have we entered a parallel universe? ?

Wonder if there's a roundabout way being considered of having PSG waiver their sell on clause for Lo Celso as part of a Rose deal in order to keep the fee from us down. That way our record transfer as NDombele is kept intact as I don't think there is a genuine belief we think Lo Celso is worth more than him. Keeps a bit of pressure off the lad too, remember the expectation of Lamela?

I genuinely think this is something that would be discussed. The sell on has probably been a contributing factor in the Lo Celso standoff.
