Played with class and dignity tonight without resorting to foul means like most of his compatriots. He is one of ours and I am proud of him.

He was fantastic tonight but so was mina. I know he’s not technically the best but if barca really are looking to get rid he has such a presence and such a threat from set pieces. Davinson and Mina would be a formidable pairing and with barrios infront could be an interesting triumvirate.

To say Barrios is raw would be an understatement. Can’t see him getting anywhere near our side on that showing

I thought Barrios was defensively strong a no nonsense hard player. No doubt he let himself down with the head on Henderson. that aside he would be a Lion in our Spurs Squad...def a must get IMO.

Yeah I was a bit nervous he was going to act like a lot of his team mates but he stayed pretty classy and did t get involved in the nonsense. Top lad.

In case anyone missed it, posted not long after the game ended. Taking care of our own. Spurs very much on the ball here.

I'd be very surprised if Poch hasn't also texted or called him over the last 12 or so hours. Couple of congratulatory/commiseratory words en Espanol. His exemplary conduct on the pitch last night will not have gone unnoticed by the club. A wee text from Il Duce himself probably wouldn't be out of line.

With a Colombian triumvirate, will we get a discount for some of their stuff?:)

He got lucky that with the two failed tackling attempts, first on Maguire which he just about pulled out of at the last moment and that ill-judged tackle on Lingard in which he catched neither ball nor man.

Aside from those two moments he was great.

Probably the defender of the tournament thus far, although Mina obviously takes a lot of attention with 3 goals.

Love Davinson, such a beast and hopefully ours for years to come.

He puts himself about, yeah. And he’s 24 so decent age for us, although i’d expect more maturity at that age personally when you see Davinson at 22. Plays the odd decent pass. Dunno I’ve not seen enough of him to make any major judgment but a must get? What you seen to think he’d be an improvement on what we have? Looked like a budget Wanyama without the physical presence to me. Guess depends on the price tag and what we expect him to do.

It depends really on what you see. You've already made your mind on him being a budget Wanyama. I saw a tenacious player our scouts have identified

He was immense. Even stepped in to calm Trips down even though that was comletely the opposite of what Colombia were trying to do. Hope he gets an amazing reception in our first game.

Haven’t made my mind up at all. I’ve seen him for one game, in unusual circumstances, and in that time he looked like a budget Wanyama - in your face, but actually a deft passing touch - without the physiquely imposing side as he’s tiny. Maybe more of a budget Herrera.

I was asking if you’ve seen more of him - what have you seen to make you think he’s such a must have? What are his qualities? It was a genuine question. I fully admit I’ve not seen him much. Whether or not our scouts have identified him is immaterial to having your own opinion.

Was unable to watch the game the other day and I'm really hoping someone will make a cut up of his game vs England.
