So what is this "private medical matter" Poch alluded to? Has Mousa got himself a dose of the clap? Hoping it isn't a serious illness in his family.

Really missing him. Sissoko can only dream of being able to ghost past a player like Dembele. Fingers crossed it isn’t s serious injury.

If he's out for a while hopefully Winks gets some starts in the league. He looked fit when he came on today and he's proved he's ready. Start him against Huddersfield and Bournemouth. Such a talented player and needs starts now to kick on.

Sadly I think it's it's wind-down time for Mousa. Still has lots to give - esp. in CL games judging by how Poch is handling him - but medium-term it's not looking great.

I agree, especially as Sissoko seems to be the alternative. Need Wanyama back soon or maybe Lamela, but a replacement is needed in Jan.

It's a bit of a head scratcher why he was ever played in the League Cup to begin with.

We need him for as many matches as possible during that grueling run coming up in October, he never should have been risked in a reserve side in a competition that Pochettino openly disdains.

People seem to think he is injury plagued, but in the last five seasons with us, in the league he has played, 32, 27, 26, 29, 26.

Yes he struggles with some long term injuries but it really isn't as bad as people are making out and his performances have been always top tier.

A little surprised with the league cup game, but with Winks now coming back to fitness, Dier being an ever present and Sissoko finding his feet in CM, he will give Dembele some extra rotation and we still have Wanyama to throw in there.

My favourite Spurs player, love watching him. Fingers crossed he's back soon because we definitely miss him when he doesn't play.

Don't think sissoko issue is going past players it's doing something with it when he does. But many will argue much the same could be said of dembele,he just looks more elegant doing it.

Think Poch has him earmarked for CL and big PL games. Will see him Wed and against Real Madrid

Jan is doing well at cb, wouldnt push him forward ;)

I do agree though that we need a backup/replacement in january even if its to fill time until a youth player is ready to step up.
