Anyone else think Lamela looks like he's just had enough after all his injuries and the negative shit and is now looking like 'right you fkers, I'm gonna show you lot what you've been missing.'
He has had good spells before but he looks like he really fkin means business this season.
Just hope he stays injury free.
To be fair to him he started the 16/17 season with a lot of intensity and got injured very quickly. I'm praying with you because we really need him to stay fit and I really hope we can get to see him reach his maximum potential.

Has to be the first name on the teamsheet at the moment, he's playing out of his skin. I would drop Dele back alongside Wanyama and have Eriksen, Lamela and Lucas supporting Kane. Perfect mix of craft, guile, workrate and pace.
Think that would certainly work at Wembley against the teams who sit back.

Absolutely set the tone for the rest of the squad tonight. I love the fact that he has not a single fuck to give about who he is up against. Absolutely gets under the skin of the opposition and upsets them - we could have done with a bit more of that tonight.

I think last night was the first time I went to a game, certainly one we lost, and I heard so many fans singing his praises. Lovely to see the majority of fans getting behind him. He deserves it, he has been consistently excellent. Consistently being the operative word. Long may it continue.

Not a bit surprised by Lamela being our best player for the moment. He offer so much more than Alli in the position behind Kane.

I've not heard anything but did he pick up an injury yesterday.

I was wondering this too. He either came off because he was knackered with cramp or it was an issue with his calf. With the way our injuries are going you'd expect it to be the latter unfortunately.

Alli hasn't been in good form lately but i think this is a bit much when you think of Alli at his best for us.

I haven’t seen a player simply care so much about playing for Spurs since... I don’t even know.

I think it's more about his absolute love for the game. He is always so passionate when he comes on, no matter the match. He just loves playing football.

I'd prefer Dele playing just off Kane with Lamela and Moura behind. Enough of the Dele playing deep please.

Hopeless Son on the bench.

I thought Alli has been one of our best performers this season when he’s been fit. Lamela, Eriksen and Alli should be the front three for most of the games.

6 goals 4 assists in 389 minutes this season all competitions. A goal or assist every 39 minutes is ridiculous

Edit since last game of 17/18

Is this right? I thought he's scored 4 (Liverpool, Brighton, Watford and Barcelona) and assisted 2 (Fulham and Barcelona) in 310 minutes. Which game am I missing?
