Lets not expect to much from him on his return. It will take him some time to get his level back. That said he could start to make a huge difference after Christmas. We are a much better side now to the one he last played in.

Didn't we play this lots of times a few seasons back when we came 3rd?

Yeah, maybe with Lamela wide left. The thought of those three trying the tricks and flicks on the edge of the penalty area has my mouth watering!

I agree with this. Hopefully, the fans can have patience with him and also conjure up a resounding welcome for him, each time he steps on the field after he returns to full training. Clearly he's a bit fragile in terms of confidence.... it may sound strange, but we as fans can actually play an active role in the mental part of his game by making him not only welcome when he returns but also celebrated. Hearing the fans go bananas the first few times he gets on the field will do his ego a world of good. Don't underestimate the human mind's desire for praise and adulation.
So, consider this a call to action for those that get to see him live this year... sing his name, sing it loudly and applaud voraciously any time he touches the ball.
It'll be awesome to have him back again.

No, i expect him and Edwards to battle for Ballon D'or this year or they can both fuck right off.

Hip Priest?
Here comes the ramona again?
I like to lick it, lick it?
Take it hip to hip, rock it through the Wembley wilderness? (gets my vote)
Hippychick?
Shake your hips?
So hip it hurts?
He's the man with the 4-way hips?
It's hip to be square?

Or even Eriksen, Dele AND Lamela behind Kane for the park the bus teams!
Against the bus teams Son, Eriksen, Dele, Lamela behind Kane, Wanyama as a dm and total mayhem. Eriksen and Lamela can drop deeper when needed.

Yep I think Eriksen should be utilised in a deeper role against park the bussers, giving us quicker transitioning with his passing and an added goal threat in son or Lamela or whoever it is

I really hope the lad makes it back without more setbacks. Lamela at his best gives us some much needed added creativity, energy and fight.

It would also be good to give Sissoko that kind of support. Not that I think he's great but we could surely help him improve.
