Short cameo but he looked a lot more powerful in his play than I've ever seen him. Actually a little Bale-esque the way he moved through bodies.

Hoping he's been in the gym because that skill with a bit of power could be lethal this year.

He seems to have got a yard quicker since he had all the problems with his hip, perhaps it had been hindering him for longer than we or indeed he realised. He's such a clever player with a seriously impressive work rate and attitude, such a shame he's missed the amount of time he has.

He spent a lot of time in the gym during his time off. He is cut to bits now

Wonderful player. Always has been. He just needs to stay fit.

In fact, when he plays at his best he is your proper tottenham player. Class.

He can offer so much to the attack from a creativity stand point. He's always trying to make something happen.

That run today was the player we thought we were getting, made a goal out of nothing
That right there is what we need. He's raring to go too, and showed a burst of pace and drive that I can't remember him showing before.

We get that player on a consistent basis, then he's in the first team more often than not.

He has all the other qualities needed, great feet, great link-up play, incisive passing, leads the press, defensively aware....

That direct run for Kane’s goal was a thing of beauty. No player wants to hear this but he could be a great impact sub in these games

Great little watch

I re-watch this every few months, with a big smile on my face. How we didn't get a red I don't know, but it was a great derby game.

Don't normally condone violence, but i wish someone would have planted one on Costa's jaw.

I think there’s something to the Lamela as an impact sub idea. I’m not saying every match, but o definitely see that either in a tight game where you need the unpredictable to open up a defence, or in a stretched game where you need someone who can do what he did yesterday, or even protecting a slender lead so you need a warrior at the front, fresh Lamela legs for 25 - 35 minutes could be invaluable.

Same for Dembele actually, I actually think both of them are players we could bring on in almost any situation, as tiring opposition players against either of them fresh will always struggle.

Two things off the pitch that I love: N’Jie getting involved in the touchline ruckus despite barely playing all season, and Vorm gloriously wading in to the Chelsea staff with the righteous fury of a Greek god

Had vorm sparked any of them out with a single punch he should have been given a immediate place in our hall of fame the following morning.
