What Lamela conspiracy theory will SC conjure up next???

Drugs and homosexuality are both already done...how about Erik is actually the damn antichrist and has been too busy summoning up his cronies from hell. Guess this explains Trump. All makes sense now.

Years from now we'll talk about the vanishing of Lamela in the same way as Lord Lucan, Shergar, and Val Kilmer's career.

@thefierycamel @Eric_s in case you missed any, Poch on Lamela's injury: An Abridged version

Notice the change in Poch's tone, how it goes from a slight knock to months out with no diagnosis, and notice that he says Lamela is "now" focused on recovery and that's a massive improvement - i.e. He wasn't before.

A lot of this is mental not physical - at least that's what Poch quite clearly believes

Nov 1st:
"Lamela had a problem today during the training session and maybe he is out for tomorrow. We need to assess him but we are not sure he will be involved tomorrow in the game. He felt a small problem in the hip during the training session."

Dec 1st:
"We are a bit worried about his situation. His evolution is not in the way we expect, it is too difficult to explain as I'm not a specialist. It is a hip problem but I cannot say when [he will return]."

Jan 6:
“He went [to Rome] now. They need to change a little bit the atmosphere and he has strong links there. Not only he believes, but we believe, that it’s important to change a little bit in his mind, and he asked too to finish his recovery time there.

"It’s difficult for the player to spend more time out than he [initially] believed or we believed, and with the energy of the team, sometimes he’s frustrated that he cannot be involved - today it’s only him that is out of the group."

Jan 14th:
“We expect he’ll be [in Rome] one week more to finish his recovery and then we’ll see what level he’s at when he’s here. It’s not important to say ‘one week, two weeks, three weeks’, it’s important he feels well and is recovering well after his injury.

“Our expectation is that when he arrives back we’ll test him and see what level he’s at, build his fitness and then see when he’ll be available to be involved again.”

Jan 19th:
"There are still some problems and we are still not sure of the diagnosis. Now we start to be concerned about him because he has been out for three months and still in a situation that has not moved on. Today the Italian doctor does not advise [an operation]. We must wait for tomorrow's scan."

Jan 23rd:
“The result [of the scan] was the same so now it’s about how he adapts his programme. Now he’ll start to run. It’s positive, now it’s about building his fitness and to try to challenge the pain he feels in his hip. We’ll see what happens. It’s a slow recovery. We are happy but we need to be patient with him."

Jan 26th:
"Tomorrow we expect him to be here, to assess him and try to see how he is. The last scan in Roma showed there was no issue, but he still feels pain in his hip joint so now it is important to meet us and stay here with the group.

"We will push him to keep his fitness and achieve the level of the team and be available as soon as possible to help us. He is very happy here, focused. He suffered a lot because he likes to play and be on the pitch.

"These rumours [of him leaving] don’t help him. We tried to advise him only to be focused and to recover as quickly as possible. He should forget all that has happened around him.”

Feb 4th:
"I asked him if he wanted to go back and he said 'I want to play here, I want to play in Tottenham, I want to play for this club, I want to be in England and I want to play football'. All negative things you can turn positive and for me that is key. It's true that we were talking this morning and he was very positive.

"Now he is very focused on his recovery and to be available as soon as possible. That is a massive improvement and a big power because you are capable of all if you believe and you are focused on recovering from your problem."

Feb 9th:
"Erik Lamela is taking it step by step. We are very happy, positive and optimistic but I cannot give the date that maybe he starts to work."

He's a good player - but if we could get £20m+ back off Roma for him and use it towards somehow pulling off the Isco signing I'd be in dreamland.

Boooooooooo

Don't f@@k with Coco
Something's been up with him this year, too many mystery injuries since he's been here.

Plus if go 3-4-3 there's only two "No 10" spots by Kane, we need someone to better to raise the level and challenge Eriksen and Allii. Ideally Isco, even if it's a long shot.

Two? And what's mysterious to us fans isn't necessarily a mystery to the club.
Look I like the lad and appreciate the effort he puts in. But he missed almost a whole season when he got here, with an "injury" which was basically that he was mentally shot and being taken out of the firing line, and now he's going to miss the whole of this one, again with questions as to whether it's not really a physical problem.
