Hi - is there any latest update on Fernando? Will we sign him up as well once we conclude our deals for dybala, lo celso and sess

Maybe if there's a free space in the 25 after the deadline, as that can be filled whenever.

Free agents, unless they get an offer they can't refuse, tend to wait until the window is closed. Every club that didn't sign a striker will be interested.

I really think we should resign Llorente as cover for Kane.
There would be space in our Champions league squad if one of Eriksen,Alderweireld or Wanyama leave to a foreign club before september 2nd.
Parrott is not physically strong enough for Premier League yet.

I can't remember Parrott being outmuscled even once in our pre-season. On the contrary, I think he showed strength and technique far beyond his years

Wouldn’t be opposed to Nando coming back in, but I’d also be happy if we chose to give Parrott more chances in the team.

Would much rather we give Parrott a go, he looks ready and that would also give us more flexibility in the transfer market come January

Llorente gave us a different dimension and contributed in key games, mostly in the champions league last season. Another year if he’s on reduced wages wouldn’t be a bad idea, although I guess it could depend on Eriksen leaving for squad place, his game time would probably be even more limited though.

We gave away his squad number so I'm taking that to mean we're not interested. Llorente would cost about £3m if he takes £60k per week, and Parrott may have impressed sufficiently on tour that we want to give him minutes.

On the assumption that Wanyama is off, we should have a spare non HG space so I don’t see much reason not to re-sign Llorente as a break glass option. Don’t think it will happen though.

Just seems strange the club hasn’t put anything out about him being released as they did with Vorm for example. I’m guessing the one year deal is still on the table until he finds another club ?‍♂️

If he’s not, he should be for his own sake. Ndombele, Lo Celso, Winks, Sissoko, Dier, Skipp, that’s a lot of players ahead of him at CM.
Can't really imagine anyone wanting him though, especially at the wages he must have? He's been out for about 75% of games in the last two seasons!

He went in very heavy on a defender against Inter on Sunday and got kicked a few times in return. Didn’t seem to bother him in the least.

Got you - I thought I'd missed some ITK.

I guess keeping Wanyama depends on how Poch wants to play. I see the CMs as Ndombele, Lo Celso, Winks & Sissoko and then Vic & Dier as DMs with Skipp as their back-up. We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks, but I'm not really expecting anyone to leave now other than Nkoudou.

At the point I'd sell Wanyama for whatever we can get and trust Skipp to backup Dier. Could also see us not using a dedicated holding midfield, especially at home to all the bus-sitting teams in the bottom half.
