I love how a guy who’s won the World Cup, the Euros and the Champions League has to bag three against Rochdale in the snow before some on here start taking him seriously as a footballer
When did he win champions league?

I think if we make crosses more regularly, go to byline more often in the final third; llorente will score goals ...

I turned to my dad at half time

Must have taken you all of half time to complete the turn with how cold it was

He's more of a Berbatov than a big target man tbh.

Obviously nowhere near him talent wise but he does better with his feet than his head imo. He isn't aggressive enough to be a target man.

If we play to his strengths we will get more out of him, it's easy. Yes he doesn't work as hard as Janssen or Kane, but like the goal Son created we need to clip more lofted balls in, hit balls to him quicker and have runners off of him, this is a little different to Kane and the players need to show some more intelligence that different players have different strengths..... i know it's obvious but some of our players really struggle with this concept.

Not his biggest fan, but came in yesterday to do a job and finishing the game with a hat trick, irrespective of the opposition would be seen as a job well done

Despite what you think of him, I am actually glad we have him, he seems a massive player in the dressing room which has to count for something.

The fact of the matter is he hasn't played well enough to be taken seriously, only 3 months to go until the end of the season. He has to push on from tonight if he wants to remain with us next season.
I think the only thing wrong with your comment is the word "well" Think omitting that would make the comment more accurate

Quotes coming out that he's said he could go back to Bilbao this summer. Be nice for him to finish it off where it started.

Levy might want to recoup more than they would be willing to pay though. Maybe let them have him for free, and give us a first option on Inaki Williams!

Llorente: "Athletic Club are my home and if they make an offer, a return could happen."

"I enjoyed many wonderful moments at the club that I will never forget and Athletic will always hold a special place in my heart."

Would make sense on a number of levels.

Unfortunately, we haven't utilised him well when thrown into games and we don't seem to be a good fit for his style of play. Bit of a square peg for a round hole. Shame but if we can break even (or get another negotiating chip) in the bargain, i'd be all for it.

I always thought he was bought as a plan B but then we never play to his strengths when he's selected. So we might as well let him go.

Wildest thing was that game when we kept crossing balls into the box with no one capable at the end of them,
then we got Llorente on and never crossed the ball again, just pushed it back and forward looking for openings through the middle.

Im sure its happened more than once too. Maybe it was West Ham in the league cup when he started and we didn't cross the ball at all. Then he was subbed off and we then started crossing it!

Decoy bluff.
Too clever for me.
I wish they'd double bluff and cross it to him.

He made a huge mistake joining us. Anyone with a brain knew this was not the right fit. 12m though for a back up striker so levy was happy.

He's shown to be more useful in these last couple of games. I think most agree we'd prefer someone better/more mobile than he is, but I think we should use him a little bit more to give Kane a break.

Completely agree. I have actually been impressed with him lately all things considered.
