Yep good cross, but according to Souness and Redknapp jnr a decent defender would have dealt with it and our Winks would not have scored. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get more chances in light of the injury situation. Poch doesn't speak about GKN in the same way he does Janssen (who is clearly out of the picture) so I guess there is a possibility.

I always thought he needed to be more direct with his running and try to follow the Son approach rather than staying out wide and putting in the crosses

Even though he put in that cracking cross in his brief cameo, I really didn't see any kind of desire in him. He might look like one of those languid players, but as he came on late, I was disappointed that he wasn't busting a gut pressing when he came on with fresh legs.

true but it just doesn't make sense to sell an attacker when we have very limited attackers as it is, let him go yh but only if it means we have someone to bring in because we dont have many options on the bench
