Very strange game from him last night ran the ball out a few times lost control on a few other occasions.

But then made something happening with his direct running.

He's frustrating to watch but so would Zaha be I guess, he's a bit of a maverick but that's what we have been missing you could instantly see soon as roma realised his pace they started backing off and doubling up which creates more space for others was also a very good assist for janssen.

I just don't see it.He makes some very odd decisions on the ball and gives it away a lot.I think it's kind of clear who poch trusts and who he doesn't.As things stand he's another body so would most likely give him another season but I just don't see any composer on the ball at all.It all looks very rushed and panicky
no that was alves:)

Definitely adapting to Poch's ethos. You can tell he's not yet on the same wavelength with our attacking players but that will come in time. Only wish he would release the ball quicker, I know he has a decent left foot he should cross sooner.

Going to be a big season for him. I've always liked the look of him and hope he gets more of a chance this year, which I think his involvement with the pre-season team shows he will.

I still think he looks like a guy who could potentially have big impacts against tiring teams when coming on as a substitute. He doesn't look like someone who can deliver enough when starting to me, not currently. Looks quite raw but safe at the same time. And by that I mean he looks raw on the ball but when he doesn't believe he'll be getting anywhere he'll turn back and play a simple pass. I actually like this as I think in time he'll develop his play to be a little more progressive more often. At least he's retaining possession.

Compare this with someone like N'Jie, who maybe showed similar promise and was very raw himself too but he was a bit clumsy and would lose possession as a result. N'Koudou is raw and maybe not greatly confident or the most forward thinking at times but he's at least tidy.

He looked very decent on those clips. Very quick feet

I'm just gonna say it, I'm such a fan of this kid. I realise he's not done anything of real note yet but I just really like what I see and whilst I'm not gonna call for him to be starting, I really want to see him getting more significant minutes in games this season.

I honestly believe he could turn out to be a very good player and significant contributor for us.

Definitely something about him. Needs game time and opportunities, but there's definitely something there.

Got the makings of a top flank player in the prem - strong, quick, tricky, both feet, loves to get in behind early.

Poch needs to focus on developing him into a LWB asap.

The only thing holding him back is he's a bit immature and loses focus on-field. He needs to get his head screwed on and see himself as a serious proposition and seek to own a starting position.

Once he begins to truly believe in himself he'll flourish and be a very good player for us.

Had a lot of faith in him from the beginning; still think he'll come good.

His strong foot is his right, no use in playing him on the left.

Needs licence to roam a bit, switch wings, receiving the ball tied to the touch line with his back to goal is not playing to his strengths

Don't really rate him tbh, hope he proves me wrong but not sure what he offers. End product doesn't seem to be what it needs to be, think he could become a threat for us if his off the ball movement improved and he started making more outside to inside runs.

I'm not convinced tbh.Theres just something a bit flakey about him.I can't really put my finger on it.Where he is playing I'd expect him to be able to cut in and rifle a shot in from 25yrds and I just can't see him doing that.It could be confidence,he defo deserves another season and more time ,but I need to see more from him.For me he is behind Edwards in what someone can offer from the bench.

He doesn't cut inside enough for me. Should play on the right and be told to get to the byline

Agreed and, though it may come in time, it feels to me like you need to be a little smarter and/or stronger to cut in onto your strong foot. Would be better used as someone to stretch the game and could make a good combination with Trips at right back.

Kind of feel like he'd be a perfect RM in a 4-4-2 but, unfortunately for him, the game has moved on.
