cr is gonna become the real 9 eventually. if anything they will look for superstar wings who can do everything then put it on the plate for cr7. not even worried about madrid. if we stay competitve, ll in both cl and league, i dont see how kane would leave.

Amazing how much a footballer can improve from someone having an opinion like this about him. Oh and not calling you out FL, just demonstrating how much better someone can get.

Tbf I think it's just one of those things where people either see it or they don't. Most of what I saw of Kane was in youth football, and he was quality and you could tell he was going to be a quality player. I try keep my views reserved, so didn't think he he was going to bang like this, and this soon, but you could tell he had quality.

Some people see it some don't, and can work for all types of players. When they eventually do well, people will often claim that they weren't that good before and they have improved a lot, but he is where he is because of what has happened in the academy. He has no doubt improved and Poch has worked on his speed etc. and fine tuning things but he has always had quality.

People said similar things about Bentaleb, couldn't see what he did, initially, then end of the season when he was one of our best players people would say, 'O I see it now he wasn't doing so and so before'.

Without taking this out of the normal thread, where it is less welcome. I have seen players on a similar level/better than Kane and Bentaleb (and Rose) in the academy, and we should be looking to bring those through. They and even moreso the club, got lucky with all of them coming through. None had planned pathways, similar to Rashford, and a very specific set of circumstances had to occur for them to get their chance, if they had not we may never have seen them flourish. He could have left the following season, if Soldado and/or Adebayor scored 10 goals and dropped down to the Championship (where he struggled once) and struggled again. And this forum and club would not know what they would have missed out on, and you'd read comments, like 'he's not doing it in the Championship, nothing lost' or 'if he was good enough, he would have proven himself'. Sometimes a bit more forward planning and we could have a few more Kanes. :)

Benzema is quality and certainly not overrated.

In previous seasons he's been a very consistent goal scorer but the team is geared around Ronaldo scoring most of the goals and getting the glory.

Plus I think this season Benzema may have had a few injuries, certainly in summer as Morata was being used.

Plus Benzema has had this dodgy blackmail stuff hanging over him (which makes him seem to be a very dodgy character lol).

Interesting to see if he ever gets back into French squad, although their squad is a bit weird as Lacazette doesn't seem to get a look in and would think he was their best centre forward nowdays?

Im guessing 7 goals in 2 games wasn't enough then.

According to the Chairman of Kitchee, Kane was not feeling well when he arrived at Hong Kong. Kind of unacclimatized and was in the hospital because of dehydration. But he still played 15 mins and scored a goal.

My SwiftKey predictions are absurd. I love no one more than Harry Kane...
