Haven't seen it mentioned on here, but there was a video on Twitter earlier of everyone getting off the team bus and going straight into the stadium, but Harry came out last and stopped to sign a kids Tottenham flag. It's the little things that are so important as well.

That's no way to describe the kid he signed the flag for.

It's the variety of goals he scores that does it in regards to him being one of our best. He's the most complete striker in the league for me and I didn't see anything in him early on to even believe he would get to the level he is. My favourite Spurs player as a supporter for 25+ yrs.
Yep, agree on the variety aspect. Also I am sure I saw a stat earlier which said that 50 of his 101 goals have come away from home. I might be wrong on that one.

If you want to model yourself on someone's style it may as well be the all time top scorer in the league

Sorry I can't help but get ahead of myself.

80 goals in 3 and a quarter seasons (call it 3) at age 24.

If he reproduces that over the next 6 seasons, he'll be on 240 by age 30.

That means he'll only need 21 more in his older years to overtake Shearer.

If he stays injury free (and doesn't leave us), I truly believe he will do it. I think he knows that too.

I feel like I've slipped into a parallel universe. A homegrown Spurs fan knocking them in for fun just doesn't happen to us!

There's something incredibly satisfying about players coming through the youth team and being successful. I still remember how excited I was when Barmby burst on to the scene, but his career didn't really pan out as I'd hoped. Kane is already a legend in my book.
I loved Nick Barmby... was/is the same age as me & was in awe that someone my age was able to play for the club I love. Moved to boro to be nearer his missus if memory served me right...quite a bit older than he was too...cougar bitch haha!

To be fair he had a bit of an injury hit season last year and still got 29. He is mega and will easily get in to the 200s.

I was a kid when he broke through, and my first sporting hero alongside Klinsmann. If I remember correctly, it all started to go downhill after his shin splints injury with the England youth team. In that first season he looked very special.

Yeah was shin splints, too much football at an early age apparently. Klinsmann, Sheringham, Barmby, Anderton & Dumitrescu...Ossies famous five!!!

I don't care what anyone says. Harry Kane is the best striker in the league. He's better than Aguero. Better then Lukaku. He's better than Sanchez. He's better than Morata. Wouldn't swap any of them for our Harry.

Jimmy Greaves is the all-time top goalscorer in the top flight of English football with 357 goals to his name. Dare to dream?

101 goals in 169 games. 24 more goals will see him surpass Teddy's record for us.

Still needs another 166 to replace Greaves as our all-time top scorer, but that might be a bit of a stretch to achieve this season.

If he spends his entire career with us, he'll pass Jimmy's record.

His first goal was amazing. Took the long ball in the middle of the pitch, knock down one defender, knock down second defender, dribble third, shot, goal. After 50 meters run. Against Boussia. Fantastic.
