Kane admits Spurs need a change of mentality against the big teams. I'm glad he is at least admitting it. Spurs are, in my opinion, on par with any of the top six (other than maybe Man City) but somehow always seem to mess it up when it matters. There is definitely something wrong with their mental state, and they need to address it. Since Pochettinho come we have looked much better than Arsenal (even in the year when we f***d it up and let them finish second) yet they have still won two FA Cups in that time with an inferior team. Maybe they need to get a sports psychologist in or something?
That would cause a media feeding frenzy...

Could be that every other prem team has one but you know if we got one (if we don't already have one) the headlines would go like this.

"Spurs legends hire shrink"
"Soft Spurs seek therapy"
"Spurs try to shrink that losing feeling..." etc, etc...

don't need to give them any more material.

Poch has also said very publicly (in his book) that he doesn't believe in using sports psychologists, so they'd bring that up if he changed opinion.

It was a clip, I think. Kane and Smalling.
'Me: What’s that in your pocket, Chris? Chris:' followed by an edited clip of Smalling simply stating 'Harry Kane.'

It's been deleted though.

Odd how United would be annoyed by this.

A concept seemingly lost on Liverpool FC.
That's the difference between Liverpool and United and what my friends and brother have said for years. United have a bit of class (they have done some a few unclasp things) whilst Liverpool completely lack it, despite thinking otherwise.

=

It effectively put words into one of their players mouths and made them look ****ish

@Archibald&Crooks is spot on. That sort of 'banter' is also something which Man Utd - to their credit - largely avoid with their social media content. As Utd are very big on brand positioning and have a brand which takes itself rather seriously, I'm not surprised that they took issue with the tweet as it was massively disrespectful and made them look responsible by proxy. Fair play to them for rising above that kind of childish bullshit. As others have noted, the likes of Liverpool especially (and Arsenal) could learn a lot from them on that front.

He is going through a dip in form - he has had a spell like this every year - he always comes out the other side and he will this time also.

It's hard to do it on your own. He needs service. Our build up is so slow it can't be easy for the striker to find space. I still think we and Kane looked better last season when we played Alli as the deep lying striker in a 5-3-2.

Seriously why does everyone take this so personal, it's a meme that's gone viral and people are just milking it, some of you lot are really precious, just ignore it.

I don't think I've seen many people taking offence to other fans taking the piss, or if they have then they're being stupid.

But imo it's fair to think it's unprofessional for the chairman of the PFA to publicly embarrass Harry like that at an event attended by all his peers who have also took part in said taking the piss.

Just shitty and unprofessional.
