He would have had two if that sleazebag Lingard didn’t knock in a goal that had 100% Kane all over it.
Joking apart, if you can knock it in, you must knock it in. If Sterling had that kind of instinct and concentration he’d score (even) more goals.

And just writing that makes me realise how much I like England now, I’m getting supportive of rivals’ players.

As good as son? Sons got what 9 goals in 5 games playing as striker (sure someone will correct me if that's wrong but it's an insane amount)?
Probably skewed due to his games there against the lower league cup teams.

You see that’s the thing even if we had Callum Wilson. I’d probably still pick Son over him so what’s the point.

Pretty sure last season he only scored twice when Kane got injured and that was in the Bournmouth game

No it was definitely more than that. It's why i wasn't that fussed that kane came back early and thought he might have been better off having a longer rest.

Definitely wasn’t I just looked.

2 against Bournmouth
0 against Chelsea or Swansea

In fact it wasn’t working at all against Chelsea so Lamela went up front

There was only one game that Kane missed in that period and that was the cup game against Swansea, the next game was the Chelsea away victory when he came off the bench. Right before that was when Son scored quite a few, scored 2 against Rochdale. scored 2 against Huddersfield, one again Juve and 2 against Bournemouth.

To be honest it's not just Son up front that I purely like but I like the dynamic of the team when he's up front. Seems dynamic with a lot of interchanging, but sometimes you do miss that focal point too.

Most of those goals were as a LF/LW

At the end of the day cm is more of a priority.
Of course, but I think we would all really like the idea of having a reliable HG backup that we could trust to play more than we currently do with Llorente. Wilson would also offers a different play style as he is really fast.

Wouldn't be against it. If we have the money we should always look to strengthen. Don't watch too many games not involving spurs so leave the scouting to you lot.

I can't say I've seen much of Bournemouth but he's getting call ups to the national team, has been off to a really strong start this season and would likely see the move intriguing. Fills a HG slot so I think it checks a lot of boxes.
