Don’t get this at all. Right from the start, when he was struggling for goals, every man and his dog, commentators and rivals alike, were saying he was still worth his place in the side for all the other stuff he did, apart from scoring. The question was always ‘could he add regular goals at the top level’.

Kane didn’t struggle for goals at the start and not really at all.
Kane was more a shoot on sight sort of a striker in the early days.
Now he picks out a pass a lot more than than he used to in these situations

Although it can’t help, Im honestly starting to think his reduced mobility and pace is more to do with putting on a few extra pounds rather than tiredness. You can see the difference in his face in that video where he talks about Tom Brady and now. Not saying he’s fat or anything but a few extra pounds can really affect timing and sharpness especially someone like Kane who’s not really a natural athlete. Obviously still contributes massively, just not that Uber striker he was a year ago.

Of course, but I think we would all really like the idea of having a reliable HG backup that we could trust to play more than we currently do with Llorente. Wilson would also offers a different play style as he is really fast.

The eternal optimist in me hopes Sterling can fulfil that role for us.

Had a weird dream other night that Kane had released a press statement stating that he realises he has been struggling for fitness for some time and as a result would be more choosey about which games he would play (mainly England and some for us).

It seemed so real I actually had to look up sky sports as soon as I woke up to check!

I had a dream of sucking on a hot blonde birds nipples. I preferred mine.

Talk on sky about Harry is he or is he not a world class striker ;what a stupid argument as I can prove conclusively that Harry is not a world class striker with five facts.
one.not one tattoo in sight
two.no stupid hair cut to be seen.or indeed ear rings.
Three . he has not been seen rolling drunk at 3am in the morning.
four. he has not been carrying on with other women behind his wife.s back.
five .he does not have a huge ego.
how on earth can you consider such a man as world class.I rest my case.

I guess it depends on who else they are describing as world class.

if any other out and out centre forward is currently classed as world class, then Harry Kane is world class. it’s that simple.

The only way he isn’t world class is if there’s a real lack of top quality forwards that these experts dont consider any current striker to be world class.

I guess it was just a matter of time before English journalists would start questioning their best player. As usually they waited for him to get little off form to hit. They had to wait for like 5 years for that so because he is not PL top scorer now but OH MY GOD two goals behind its enough for questioning him.

Is he worst then Cavani? Lewandowski? Suarez? Benzema? Aguero? Nope. They all have highs and downs but I think only Lewandowski and Suarez are as regular as Kane is. Even if Harry is not as sharp as last year he is still banging goals.

Tbf i feel like Kane is one of the most liked and best regarded England players in a long time. He gets the usual bants on Twitter but ultimately people/pundits seem to have bought into him pretty hard and certainly since the world cup.

I rarely hear rival fans say anything bad about him anymore.

Apart from this stupid gooner who phoned up TalkSport on Monday. I nearly crashed my car listening to it.

Just your average deluded cyber Gooner - probably never been to a game in his life. Genuinely are a breed apart, to be pitied rather than scolded!

I hate to defend gooners but there fans like that at all clubs.

I’m amazed anyone has anything really bad to say about Kane (I’m not including our fans in this btw) because if they do it’s only down to jealousy. He’d get into every team in the world.

He’s got a point, though. I mean would you honestly tell me you’d have Harry Kane over Olivier Giroud?!? My God man- talk sense!

You can probably count the number of Arsenal fans who don't shorten their name to sound cool, or have some silly nickname, on one hand. Not sure I've ever met one in real life before either.
