Llorente for all his effort and impact in moments of this season has shown how poor a finisher he is, so many chances gone begging as his instincts/confidence isn't there. If we get one clear chance in a CL final I want it falling to Harry all day long. WE might only ever get one shot at winning this thing, HK has to be on the pitch if he's at an acceptable fitness level.

I’m of the mindset that we start with an attack of Son, Dele, and Moura, with the explicit understanding that Harry will come in as a sub by the 60th for any of the three, with the change dependent upon tactical switch or any of the three’s fitness. The only reason I’d leave Son or Moura on the bench is to have either of them available to come on later in the game to run at a tired defense.

Knowing Harry is available as a sub has to be a bit of a mindfu*k for an opposing team (and a huge boost for Spurs), even if he’s just coming back from injury, and I think that’s where he’d be best utilized in this match.

So many mind games flying around from Poch regarding Kane and quite rightly. I’m expecting him to start.

We all know how driven and ambitious Harry is , I reckon he'd do anything to start/play in a CL final. This worries me slightly .

The game could go to extra time and penalties. I'm not sure Kane could go the full distance. I'd rather have him finish than start. I'd bring him on about an hour in so we've got a better chance of a strong finish. I think he's got up to an hour at his best.

I don’t think we can gamble on the game going to OT and saving Harry for that possibility. We should aim to win the game in regulation. We have to take the risk.

We need to play the right team for the best tactical plan we come up with to beat Liverpool in a one-off match. No one player goes in the starting eleven just for name alone.

As has been pointed out before, people need to take into consideration that there's the potential that his ankle does indeed feel OK, but then gives way etc (as is obviously the case for everyone involved in the game). So if you save him for later in the game, bring him on & that unthinkable scenario unfolds, it's another sub required, if one is still available.

Tough choices for Poch & his management team.

If Kane’s fit and has trained well with no ill effects, then he starts, it’s as simple as that.

Kane is a genuine world class player and you don’t keep world class players on the bench in a CL

Pacy players like Son/ Moura would be more effective against tired defenders if the game goes to extra time.

I'm referring to the fitness levels of Kane. Nothing to do with the pacey players.

I’d only start him if he was fully fit. If he wasn’t anywhere near 100%, I doubt Poch would start him anyway and would presumably use him only if we were chasing the game.

A Fit Harry must start......end of.

He is the best in the world as an out and out striker, it would be madness not to start him.

We lose without him, we will forever look back with ''if onlys'' the game could be long lost before he comes on.

Harry will start and Liverpool will be shitting themselves , a fresh pumped Harry on the loose will fuck them right up.

He 100% starts for me, our talisman, our star striker and our leader.

Totally agree - all of the above and fired up. He has the nous and knows quite a bit of shithousing too.
.
If he blows up then he has given his best I hope we are in a good place with impact subs.

Exactly. As tough as it may be on Son or Lucas, one of them has to make way for him if he's fit and raring to go. Poch knows this, we know this, its football.
