He was clearly a full on gooner when he was younger. Which to be fair does make the chant a bit silly. And if it was the other way round we would be ripping into the gooners.
You mean like when the Gooners remind us of Campbell?

Like on Saturday when they sung his name in place of Kane's in the "he's one of our own"?

Exactly. You'd think that if they had a single brain cell to share between them they'd realise that it doesn't exactly reflect well on their club for a young supposed Gooner to switch allegiance to Spurs. Not to mention playing with the sort of passion and evident love for the club that they could only dream of from their motley crew of prison-dodging mercenaries.

I know a few have mentioned Harry's name with the young player of the year award, but is there a chance he could win the full version?

Obviously if he doesn't it's no biggie, but right now he's in form in a way that no one else is, and if he keeps it up surely he's a shoo in?
I would have said Aguero was a cert for it before his injury, but if Kane keeps up his form and Aguero doesn't re-capture his, Kane could well clinch it.

Who would the other contenders be? Hazard would be 1 but I don't think Diego Costa would be as despite scoring a lot of goals, his negative behaviour seems to have over shadowed that. Sanchez & Cesc possibly but the plaudits seem to have quietened down for these two?

Similar to win Ginola won, the Chelsea players could split the vote between them leaving Kane with an empty net.

Think Hazard, Sanchez, Costa would be the leading three, but Kane absolutely deserves to be in the conversation. For me Lloris and De Gea deserve to be up there as well.

Agree with the shouts of Hazard, Sanchez and Costa, even Aguero looked a pretty decent bet previously. But it's more and more becoming Harry Kane's season. He's the story right now, and if he keeps up this kind of level then he could win it

No mentions of Fabregas? Or Matic?

Think the above point of the Chelsea players splitting the vote and Kane coming in to win are very valid. Outside Chelsea the three main contenders look like Kane, De Gea and Sanchez.

Preliminary 6 for the vote maybe those three, Cesc, Hazard and Costa.

Even for Kane to be mentioned in the same breath as Fabregas, Hazard, Costa, Aguero, De Gea and Sanchez speaks volumes.

I really doubt Kane will be leaving Tottenham anytime soon. Typical media though, trying to sell him and he hasn't even played 20 League games for us yet.

Just to add, he'd had 11 before the season started and is now on 31 games, 15 goals in the league for us. Played 60 for us in all comps, scoring 27.

With his 15 PL goals already in his career, that's already more PL goals for Tottenham than (not exhaustive):

Kanoute (14), Mido (14), Ginola (13), Modric (13), Crouch (12), Rebrov (10), Kranjcar (9), Sigurdsson (8) and Dempsey (7)

He's 3 off Darren Bent (18), 6 off Pavlyuchenko & Jenas (21), 9 off VDV (24), 12 off Berbatov (27) and 14 off Klinsmann (29)

Do people actually care about the pictures? Look at the way he celebrated our win against Arsenal and the way he talks about our club.

I'm not bothered about it (even if it were true) as he's made all the right noises about it and has shown his passion.

Irks me more when people like Sherwood go on TV and happily say/suggest that they are gooners. It's not about the truth, it's about understanding the fans and things you shouldn't say if you want 100% support from them - even if you have to get economical with the truth.

I know someone who suported Liverpool and then Spurs before settling on West Ham when he was about 10 or 11. It was due to various family members pulling him in different directions and giving him the shirts as gifts. He's West Ham through and through though and you can't question his loyalty now. It would have been even worse for Kane as he had to play for them and his mates there were probably gooners at the time. Even though he might have supported them in some way when he was 11, all that matters is his loyalty to Spurs now in this moment.

Not in FIFA 15 squad either.
Was hoping to pick him up cheap.
From obscurity to England squad in 3 months.
