Fuck me... I was just boasting to my missus' two bffs' husbands who are manure fans that I'm very confident Kane will play tomorrow, until I saw the reports Poch saying Kane is out due to hamstring strain ffs.. :bored:

I was so confident Kane would have boosted his fitness these few days to shake off that and be it pain relief or self-hypnotising, he will be raring to play tomorrow. Still it's not gonna happen.. Poch would forbid that I'm sure..

But hey, Kane has a terrible record against manure right?

Poch absolutely needs to take better care of Kane. He doesn't need to be on the pitch when we're 4-1 up. He has a fantastic attitude and will work hard until the 90th min if he has to, but sometimes we need to be more clever about resting him. He can't play every minute of every league game, which I am 100% sure Poch would do barring injury. Players are surely more susceptible to muscle injuries when fatigued.

Thing is his deputies were awful against west ham. Will require something special to win on Saturday.

My hope is that Poch doesn't let that kind of performance happen again. I believe he will have us ready and fired up and we will see a much better team performance this time out.

TS A.Durham was saying "Do Spurs lose against Wham on Wednesday if Kane was playing? I don't think so. Thats how critical he is.'

Well, do Spurs lose to Wham if Lloris had been in goal???
Do Spurs lose to Wham if Verts had been in defence with Toby???
I think not. So what the fks that got to do with tomorrows game?
Barcelona are weaker without Messi.
RM are weaker without Ronaldo.
Chelski are weaker without Hazard.
City are weaker without Aguero.
But are they shit when these players are missing? Of course not. Football isnt a 1 man game and frankly Man U, despite the media bullshit, really aren't a very good team. They're really not.
Ignore the bullshit and actually watch them play. Its awful.
Just cannot see us losing tomorrow.
Its possible obviously. Dis iz footbaal lol.. but I'd be surprised put it that way.
And fkin miserable for rest of week.

Utd aren't all that, but I think the jury's out on the attitude of this team when Kane isn't leading the press from the front.

Not sure why this is the case, we had Son fill in last season for Kane last season in March and we won all our matches.

Was a balls up. I was watching from up on high and you could see Kane was struggling with about 20min to go. Should have come off then.
But even Poch can make a mistake.
Was a great game.

Honestly believe this was part due to shearer comment on MOTD.said Kane should knock on poch door and say why you taking me off on 80 mins Lukaku is playing 95 mins.Something was obviously said because poch brought it up in presser.Maybe kane said something to him and it just tipped the balance to keep him on.Kind of ironic that his 2 nd goal meant he stayed on for hatrick which ultimately lead to the injury.

In trying to make myself feel better, this strange idea popped into my head.Kane ultimately is pretty selfish, something we obviously forgive. I think he’s had average of 7 shots a game this season, which I believe is a PL record. So roughly 63 shots and 8 goals, obviously nobody is going to question this. But that’s 55 possible scoring positions where he hasn’t scored.Obviously of those 55 he wouldn’t have had possibility to pass every time.Lets day half he could have passed(total guess). Thats Maybe 25 possible situations another player may have passed creating a better opportunity and scoring.Maybe this is why we actually do ok without him.Or this Maybe utter bollox haha. You kind of feel bad questioning anything about Kane.

Mourinho began his news conference: "Because I know the question I don't need the question, I'll answer.

"I don't speak about injured players so don't ask me about Harry Kane, because to speak about Harry Kane I have to speak about [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, about [Paul] Pogba, about [Marcos] Rojo, about [Michael] Carrick, so I don't speak. Next question."

Quite funny because that is what they wanted the story to be and he shuts them down, but it's typical him to make the focus about how injured all their players are. Although Jones should be back  (Jones' face that...) and Bailly might be back soon.

I agree but I don't think we can use the West Ham game as a barometer as there were different circumstances around it.

I'm looking back to more what it was like when he was out last season. The first time, early in the season,we definitely struggled to score goals but when he missed games later in the campaign we didn't seems so effected. I'm hoping we cope like the latter today.

It's proved Poch was right though so should stop any complaining from Harry (if that's what has happened following Shearer's comments) and any moaning from pundits. Hopefully the injury isn't too bad but a point has been made in the manager's favour.

It's good management from him. There's no getting round the fact that he is a massive bellend but he's very good at dealing with the media and getting them to follow his agenda. As annoying as that is.

One of our best performances of last season was the 2-0 at home vs Man City without Kane - so providing we come out for both halves then I'm confident.

United will be relieved Harry is out but we will still challenge them with our movement today.

Here is hoping Harry heals quickly and that we don't have to rush him back.
