His “bad run of form” consists of scoring in 15 of last 21 appearances. Including x2 hatricks x3 braces. And scored in last 5 games lol.

Nope, I'm talking about the last half dozen or so games where he's scored 3 from open play and probably missed more chances that he normally buries than the rest of the season combined. The fact that he's still winning us games despite not being near his scoring peak is amazing.

I need him to score 4 goals tonight to win a bet that he’d get 15 by the end of February (since the wimbledon game). Not looking likely is it......

One of the rags has lewandoski opening talks with RM today and rejecting another contract with Bayern. Not that I would have expected H to leave but would love a bit of respite from the press.

Not likely for any player to score four but if you had to put money on a player to do it, he'd be yer man. ;)

Guillem Ballbag said in his column recently that Madrid know they can't get Kane (this summer) and their number one target is Hazard plus De Gea / Courtois. Hopefully if they can sign Lewandowski or Icardi, Harry can sign a new deal and the Kane leaving rumours can stop for a least a decent amount of -- oh, they've started again...

Anyone else think he's been less clinical recently? He's missed a lot of good chances.

The thing with Pele was the mythos around him and that Santos team. They pretty much toured the world playing the world’s best teams such was their level of fame. Impossible to compare to anything in modern sport. To those crowds, Pele was almost like a being from another planet, unlike anything they’d seen before. I certainly agree that I wouldn’t hold him in the regard I’d hold Maradona or Messi, but his status in world football during his era will never be matched by anyone again. Football is too readily available to watch. Impossible for anyone to have that same air of mystery about them.

he won 4 world cups. he was a couple of decades ahead of everyone else, as you say. too bad his ego is so huge that he became insufferable.
