From personal experience of torn ankle ligaments x2 and a broken ankle x3 there's generally very little swelling and bruising however a twisted/sprained ankle can blow up like a balloon and go purple, looking much worse but recovering in 2-3 weeks.

David Hytner of The Guardian reports tonight that scan has not happened due to swelling. He usually reports on Spurs so would think he will be reasonably informed.

Tbh on something like this I’m surprised there isn’t decent itk. Friends family all the players and staff likely know the score. Even if not had scan Harry must have a decent idea having had same injury x3.

No scan yet I don't think, still swollen.
No scan = no news.
I guess if still swollen that is bad news, as I recall that is what happened the last time he was out. Last update about the scan being booked sounded positive as a lot of people were saying same thing, if he’s having the scan then it’s not to swollen to have the scan, so that’s good. But maybe spin by the club, if indeed they did say he was having the scan when stated? Anyway bad news now, don’t expect him back in any way shape or form like the goal machine we had and needed for the rest of the season

Damn...at least 4 weeks then.

I guess it could have been much worse. Might only miss 2 or 3 games?

I think we can and we will beat Chelsea at SB, especially after our result away to Bournemouth without Kane.

I would love to have your optimism! I just always fear the worst against Chelsea. So many years of shit against them.

Even in recent years we have managed to outplay them and lose. But they do always raise their game against us.

Would love to finish their top 4 hopes. Might be even funnier if we are missing our ‘one man team’ star player.
