I Would actually believe it’s Poch and some of the players including Christian who is behind this. Would be kind of typical our new culture by standing up for our fellow mates..

Harry probably wouldn’t want to make this type of action - but only my opinion.

That said, it’s not like we claim an Injustice to be made here - just that FA review the situation to make IT correct. If they stand firm I expect US to move along...

The topscorer in the PL is quite a big deal for the person involved so if its his he should get it..

It's is cringe but I think the club want to appease him as much as possible, probably affected his goal bonus.

So what if we appealed? If Kane wants the goal then good for him.

This has only become a thing because for some reason it’s boiled the piss of a load of Scousers on Twitter.

Meh.

Yeah i totally get that, if it was anyone else there would be no appeal. But gotta remember it's about the team and not one man, makes Harry look far too desperate.

It's not desperate. Look, he is a striker, he works his bolloks off, sacrifices his whole life for being the best, he gets injured for the team and us fans to score, to win. And if he says he touched the ball ever so slightly, we should trust him. He's not chasing bonus, he wants to challenge Salah for the Golden Boot. His commitment is admirable.

Love the idea. I just hope if it's close, Harry doesn't make selfish choices that cost us points in pursuit of his individual goals.

Me too. Can only be a good thing in general but he was making a few runs in the 92min against Stoke trying to anticipate a mistake by the defender rather than trying to hold up the ball and run down time. It's a good tactic in general (especially when playing against Lovren) but not what was needed at the time. Very small criticism - Kane is a hero amonst men.

Ronaldo did similar in a La Liga game against Real Sociedad, its the mindset of a elite winner

Now that he's appealed, social media reaction can go one of two ways:
1. Eriksen's credited with the goal and 'pool fans laugh their arses off at us/Harry
2. It's awarded to Harry and 'pool fan's piss is boiled all over the globe (particularly in Egypt).

Let's hope Harry gets credited with it now, just for the piss boiling

please please please beat Salah by one goal now, my word Twitter would be glorious.

He is probably thinking long term too, that's a goal closer to Shearer, and might be an extra goal that someone needs in 20-30 years time to beat his new record.

He wants all the records.

Eriksen would love an assist I'm sure he dont give a shit. Kane probably felt it graze past him. That's happened to me in the past where I've felt it and no fucker has believed me.

The only ones disliking this are Liverpool fans

I think Ronaldo and Sheringham got awarded a goal a few years later which was dubious

Wouldn't be a surprise if they split the goal bonus. Thats what I'd say if I were Eriksen. Give me half your goal bonus Harry and you can have the goal!

Really want him to beat Salah by one goal now. Liverpool fans at it again on social media, I’ve had enough of them. If there is footage to prove he scored it, it’s his goal. That’s the end of it really.

Though swearing on his daughter’s life is a bit strong. If I was an interviewer after one of his games when he possibly dived or something and he denied it, I’d say ‘swear on your daughter’s life you never dived’. ?

They’re so horrifically bitter towards us this year, I really hope we finish above them and Kane somehow manages to win the golden boot by the odd goal.
Only this year? They're so salty I'm surprised the Mersey is still considered to be freshwater.

Will be funny if he gets it and nabs the boot by 1

But let’s not pretend we wouldn’t be ripping on Liverpool if Salah was doing this.

It’s incredibly selfish and small time. Eriksen deserves both goals, and the bonuses, let it go

“I swear on my daughter’s life”? Yeah I’m sure Harry didn’t want to take it any further ?

Eriksen looked miffed about the whole thing and I would argue didn’t look bothered in the slightest, totally not his style

Poch? Definitely, if Harry said he touched it, he’d fight for him. It’s a trophy, after all, and he knows Kane needs those to stay

I don’t understand how people can complain that it’s “cringe” and “small-time”, but also be desperate for Salah to win it. Either it matters or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t, then who cares? If it does matter, then why shouldn’t he claim it if he scored?

Football fans on the internet are absolutely obsessed with this bullshit “playing it cool” posturing. As if they have too much dignity to take pleasure in anything less than winning the champions league. Any acheivement of another team must be caveated. People go on about how it’s “just the league cup” or how someone is “celebrating a draw like they won the title”. It’s so depressing and joyless; why do people devote their lives to telling people on bbc sport and twitter that they don’t care about what they’re talking about?

The whole concept of being “small-time” is the saddest of all. Anyone who uses the term “small-time” sounds like an Apprentice contestant who thinks they have found the secret to being a big-shot success and that the secret is being deluded.
