Harry Kane scores a goal.
Harry Kane responds to a question about whether he scored a goal with "yes, I scored a goal".
Harry Kane gets awarded a goal because he scored a goal.
Fans of Harry Kane's team call him pathetic and embarrassing.

What?

I think part of the problem is some seem to view us as "better than other clubs" with a "better" class of fan and therefore all this is somehow above us as we sit on our high horse surveying all before us with the moral high ground.

Trying to get the goal changed is somehow above us and not fitting with some fans view of our moral standing in the game.

Which is all bullshit really.

Next time we score other than Harry scoring of course, he needs to claim it, just taking the piss. It will ‘boil the piss’ of the all the Liverpool fans too. Be proper funny if all the spurs players got in on the act.

Can't believe people are going into such lengths about this point haha!

Honestly who cares, Harry thought he touched, Spurs backed him and appealed and he got given the goal, which was unanimously voted by the panel. That's it isn't it?

I am seeing words like pathetic, embarrassing etc which is hilarious! You know what comes to mind:

"Come down dear, it's just a commercial"

What we should all be hoping for is the following (because of the fall out):

- Liverpool draw Real Madrid in the CL and get well and truly tonked.
- We finish about them in the league.
- Harry finishes above Mo by a whole 1 goal in the last minute of the last game.
- We win the FA Cup.

I agree. No wonder we become such a laughing stock. Will Kane now relinquish the goals that he scored that went off a defenders foot or goal keepers hands and now describe them as own goals? I think not, even when his (and the panel's) logic does dictate that they should. Pathetic and desperate comes to mind. He should have more confidence in his ability to maintain the golden boot without resorting to this
Spot on

Shearer being a **** as usual but expected better from Lineker

In fairness, both of them backed Harry when people were calling him a one-season-wonder etc.

They are media people and it’s sort of their job to get involved in these slightly ridiculous things. It’s pretty harmless and hardly malicious.

Next time a bindipper appeals a red card I am going to town on him.

There's definitely a correlation between those that think Kane is pathetic and those who go to the toilet and cry when a rival fan takes the piss out of us.
