If I'm Harry Kane the only thing I'd regret is swearing on my child's life.
It was a mistake by him which I'd imagine he probably regrets.
Let the mugs take the piss fuck em all.

Lineker is a grade a knobber mate. I've heard from various sources going back many years that he's a very unpleasant bloke.
It's even been discussed in here before, I think someone had ITK that he was kicked out of a high profile golf club or something like that because he was so unpopular.
Just ignore him he's irreverent.

Thanks mate. What a shame someone who gave our club such a fantastic service as a player, is actually a grade A knobhead.

C'est la vie.

He won't give a shit about any of this. He's had to fight so hard to get to where he is, if anyone thinks this sort of banter is going to get to him, they have underestimated him.

I foresee a few goals coming to silence the critics, just as he's done for over 3 years now...

The only thing that bothers me is that the banter is so shite.

The "Kane claims goal in [insert game Kane didn't play in" was done to death by the end of the following day. But it just kept going and going every day. There should be more stuff to explore when it comes to humour about this incident.

I so want Harry and the team to come out all guns blazing for the rest of the season and get 2nd, bag the F.A cup and Kane getting the Golden boot.

Liverpool really hate us don't they.
Every time I am on a spurs page on Facebook I still see Liverpool fans bringing up the 2 pens we got at Anfield.

I don't think i went on any Chelsea pages and slated Moses after our semi final last season.

In fact one of my Liverpool supporting mates on Facebook commented on the City pen that was outside the box saying..

" well spurs have had the rub of the green in loads of matches"

I said " talking about our pens at Anfield by any chance? "

He replied " yes, the decision went for City this time, get over it (less than 24 hours after the game"

So Ironic

Fans taking the piss is fair game but pretty weird how obsessed their players are.

Thats at least the 4th professional footballer for Liverpool to try and make a funny comment about a situation unrelated to them that they've managed to turn into being about them.

Way more pathetic then claiming a goal you think you've scored imo
I wouldn't worry about what someone with Karius' IQ thinks - he believes this is how to take a goal kick:

To put it in perspective, despite the Liverpool players recent public pettiness, we put out a classy post about the Hillsborough anniversary yesterday.

It wasn't long before some professional troll brought up whether Harry Kane had claimed credit and then other trolls started bringing up Heysel etc.

The internet can often be a force for good but more often than not these days it's a place for faceless hate disguised as "bantz lol" etc.

Yep too many keyboard cowards and people with no level of behaviour just posting bile.

There needs t be more restrictions on it as there’s freedom of speech and people just abusing it being ****s.

And twitter needs to be destroyed.

Will we start kane at Brighton? And do we think he will score ... imagine a hat trick to shut up the haters , then an fa cup semi final winner and a hat trick in our next home game against Watford :) dreaming ? I just don’t think he is himself to do this at the moment

Personally I think Kane could have been a little more tactful, but then he's an elite sportsman and I'm not.

But this whole incident really has shown that although we all consider ourselves part of an eminent and special club in supporting Spurs, we still have quite a few fans who really are as dumb as a post, gratefully chugging down all the 'banter' from sports 'journalists' and box room dwelling Twitter trolls.

Harry's been such an amazing player for us and yet some people are letting a load of idiots, and even Liverpool players and fans (!) cloud their opinion of him.. welcome to the social media age I guess.

Just six weeks ago Liverpool home crowd was chanting 'you lying bastard' at Evra.

Liverpool players and manager wore t-shirts defending him.

They defend Carragher for spitting at a child. They defend Gerrard who assaulted a DJ.

They hate the tories but whitewash the fact the Moore family owned the club and John Smith was chairman (major backers of the tory party).

A red scarf saved the day for Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, the Conservative leader, when she made Liverpool F.C's Anfield headquarters her first port of call during a hectic 24-hour visit to Merseyside.
Mrs. Thatcher was wearing a powder blue and white costume when she met team captain Emlyn Hughes, wearing blue slacks, in the trophy room.
Emlyn suggested the leader of the Blues was wearing the wrong colours.
Quick as a flash, Mrs. Thatcher whipped out a bright red neckerchief and put it round her neck. "I've come prepared," she joked.
There was another slight problem when Mrs. Thatcher admired the U.E.F.A. and Football League championship cups.
Emlyn warned: "Don't try to lift that. I couldn't and the boss couldn't, and we both dropped it."
When Mrs. Thatcher lifted the large trophy, the base fell off.
After being presented with a gold necklace, with a Liverbird on it, by the chairman of the club, Mr. John Smith, Mrs. Thatcher went to see the famous Kop.
She heard that it was fifty years old and that the reconstruction work on the stands was to cost £420,000.
When manager Bob Paisley invited the Tory leader to visit them and watch a match, Mrs. Thatcher said she would love to.

Liverpool in the 80s led the way by lobbying for the end of sharing gate receipts. That screwed over the smaller clubs. They wanted their own tv deal.

Liverpool Football Club are the most sanctimonious hypocrites in football. They preach to be holier than thou but reality is they are all for themselves.

This thread has got seriously embarrassing over the past week, and not because of anything Kane or the club have done. He deserves better than this shit.
I fully agree. However, I do think he will have felt a bit let down by his fellow 'former' England strikers. He made a comment post match that Shearer and Lineker have a look on MOTD. However, they both subsequently came out and took the p**s out of Harry rather than anything constructive.

Anyway, let's wrap this part of the thread up, now. What we can do as fans is contribute to putting the situation firmly behind us, and move forward not engaging in or rehashing juvenile and mundane jokes.

All he needs to do is get his head down and bang in a couple against Brighton tomorrow night and have a stormer v United on Saturday and it'll all be in the past.

I do have to laugh at the state of Henderson's post match interview at the weekend though. Guarantee he won't be saying shit to Harrys face when he(Harry) is the captain during the world cup.

It's Twitter. Who cares, honestly. It's a cesspit and in a week, some other nonsense meme will be in fashion. Some people are far too precious, it really doesn't matter, at all.

Once he starts banging the goals in it will all subside.

Couldn't see this already posted, but Roma have had their go at taking the piss out of Harry Kane.
