Was a knob move on Kane's part tbh. Now we all look like ****s, including his team mates.

For trying to claim a goal that he scored? It's really not a big deal.

Wonder what kane would do/say if it happened again?

I suspect he'd do exactly the same and ask the club to appeal it.

Van Dijk, Salah, Milner and Henderson

I don't care about the others, but Henderson is an England team mate and should show some respect.

He won't give a shit about any of this. He's had to fight so hard to get to where he is, if anyone thinks this sort of banter is going to get to him, they have underestimated him.

I foresee a few goals coming to silence the critics, just as he's done for over 3 years now...

The Next goal he scores will be followed up by a tweet from him about how he's claiming it. I just hope it comes quickly.

I fully agree. However, I do think he will have felt a bit let down by his fellow 'former' England strikers. He made a comment post match that Shearer and Lineker have a look on MOTD. However, they both subsequently came out and took the p**s out of Harry rather than anything constructive.

Agree disappointed in Shearer especially as he knows Kane looks up to him.

Personally think we have managed him entirely wrong....or someone needs to have the balls to say "Harry look your not fit and you are off the pace we know you want to catch Salah but you are going to endanger your career the team is also more important that your personal goals"

He's came back way to fast and its actually costing us.

Its sad as he's trying so hard for the club and himself but its just a bit silly.

Still doesn't look sharp. I'd almost be half tempted to have him on the bench for the first hour on Saturday, with the four-man pivot up front. See how we're getting on after 55-60mins and if we're struggling, then get Harry on

F that Kane needs to start, his presence alone will put the shits up Utd, did you see the way he bullied Jones and Smalling last time out?

I get what you're saying, but he was in much better form then. Had 6 goals in 4 games just before that. I have a feeling we'd see a similar performance from him to that of his against Stoke, City and Brighton. Perhaps this game being a much bigger occasion than the others would give him a boost but I have my doubts

I love Kane but he’s pissed me off these last weeks. Why is he starting if he can’t run? Today he was our captain and all he did was jogging around. Be vocal, run, motivate the team.

Poch can’t play him because of his name. He did nothing yet again today, it’s clear that he’s not fit enough but Kane’s ego makes him still play because he wants to win the golden Boot

Why does Kane get the armband? He's world class, but he's no leader - I can't think of a single moment in that game when he took charge, or inspired our players.

I cant believe we even thought to give the arm band in a game like this after the Stoke debacle. Absolute joke. Small time and pathetic are the words to describe that. And the word to describle Kane since coming back from injury? Absent.

He's not "back from injury" at all. He rushed himself back because he's desperate for the golden boot, and Pochettino refuses to leave him out of the side, no matter how unfit he is.

Golden boot is gone. If Poch has any clue he'll rest him for the next couple of games at least to make sure we get over the line to secure 4th.

Thought he started better but the energy didn't last long at all. Ended up being a bit of a waste of space in all honesty.

He's vice captain, that's why.

He's spurs through and through! (Absent when it matters that is)

Not angry at him personally, he's clearly half fit and just wants to play. Up to the coaches to make him 'Spurs fit', as Alderweireld was supposedly forced to become before he could make the matchday squad. Just very disappointed that this is how we were represented by our talisman and captain on the day.

Some of the comments about Harry on here are fucking embarrassing... Fickle fuckers
Yep. Blows my mind that people are actually questioning his character, and suggesting he puts himself above the club. He would be earning £500k a week and living in a villa if that's how he felt. He cocked up with that Stoke goal, but human beings are allowed to make mistakes.

He hasn’t looked explosive or sharp since the turn of the year. Not sure if it’s fatigue or is he carrying an injury?
