The version of Harry Kane playing right now is what 99% of people thought he'd end up being. How much he improved is astonishing really.
He should be a footballing idol, he would be in any other country but this one. In this modern football world of pampered primadonnas and underperforming superstars here is a guy who has worked his arse off to be the best he can be. He's an inspiration.

I hope he scores a load of goals at the World Cup but couldn't give a shit how England do, don't really want gimp fans of other clubs having something to cheer about especially if it's because of Kane.

It was a clip, I think. Kane and Smalling.
'Me: What’s that in your pocket, Chris? Chris:' followed by an edited clip of Smalling simply stating 'Harry Kane.'

It's been deleted though.
I have had the displeasure working with Martin Glenn at a well known food brand and he was a complete tool there and massively out of his depth with his David Brent management manner and slimy demeanour.. Arsehole

Love how this country is battering him now - typical really build them up then knock them down.

Disgraceful behaviour by PFA, FA and the scummy Liverpool lot whose playeare really just need to shut up really.

Then the FA expect him to go out and do a job for England this summer? ****s!

I don't think I've seen many people taking offence to other fans taking the piss, or if they have then they're being stupid.

But imo it's fair to think it's unprofessional for the chairman of the PFA to publicly embarrass Harry like that at an event attended by all his peers who have also took part in said taking the piss.

Just shitty and unprofessional.

It’s actually bullying.

Something that is far too easy to do on Twitter when you get all these clever idiots posting their ‘banter’ on there.

Someone should actually be saying to Liverpool players enough is enough now but instead we get the PFA boss joining in on it.

Disgraceful...

:cautious:I really hope Harry doesn't play for England in Russia. Give the FA the 2 fingers, say I'm not going.
Maybe he can get the rest of his England team mates from Spurs to do the same
Can't see him doing it but it would serve all these naysayers right.
Yes I'm English but would rather see THFC do well than the national team.

Thought we'd heard the end of it. But have to admit, this did make me chuckle!

Darren Lewis has written a story where he states senior figures at the PFA are disappointed with their chairman over his 'joke' at the awards. He then puts it is 'understood' that some of Kane's family is upset about the ongoing joke and bullying.

The comments, yet again, fail to understand the issue and instead resort to saying Kane has brought it on himself and is soft as shite etc.

My comment is up there somewhere, about a chairman of a union mocking one of its members in public causing some to get fired in other industries. Calling it banter just because it's football doesn't really cut it.

I agree totally with your post.

It could have been considered 'banter' at first but now it's just getting silly and is bullying.

That is the problem with twitter and having so many thick people in the world who don't have an off-switch when enough is enough sadly.
