I'm still completely baffled as to why you wouldn't build your team around the in form striker in the world, and enable him as much as possible. It's on a par with Hodgson having him take corners by playing him as a playmaker to enable far inferior players like Sterling and Lingaard.

It was a blot on Southgates World Cup. The side was not set up to utilise Kane at all.
