Nobody would say anything? Disagree. He’s at a few goals after August which is groundbreaking territory for him. People here are concerned by Kane for very good reason. It’s funny he’s missed some absolute sitters this season from memory, header United, header Watford, hit the post can’t remember if that was Fulham or Newcastle. Probably couple of others. Could easily be on 5 or 6 and nobody would probably be saying anything.

The concern isnt missing chances its the fact that hes not getting as many as he was before...could be formation-related....I dunno. Not too bothered by chances Kane may miss because i still think he will score 25+ in the league alone, which is what you want from your top striker. Just really worried about him being tired and fatigued.
That was often the case in the past when we have struggled to create many chances in general. The concern isnt missing chances its the fact that hes not getting as many as he was before...could be formation-related....I dunno.
Didn't people say similar things about him early on most seasons?I don't think anybody is concerned due to him missing chances. That's just football, and I have no doubts about his class and ability to finish chances over the whole season.
It's his all round game and general performances that's a concern. Doesn't look as agile, or quick in body and mind. Doesn't seem to be physically bullying defenders like he was either, nor as prolific in getting shots away. Even his passing and touch doesn't look as secure.
It's been like this since the back end of last season and is borne out by both the stats and from watching him play. Whether or not he's adapting his own game because deep down he doesn't feel 100% confident in his ankle or he's just completely knackered which has caused him to lose his edge I know. Or possibly he's trying to play a deeper role and sacrificing some of his innate selfishness on the pitch to the detriment of his own game.
Whatever it is, there is no doubt he is not the same player as we was when we played Liverpool at Wembley last season.

2016: Fatigue (mental and physical) off the back of a disappointing Euro 2016 and lack of rest/preseason.
2017: "Can't score in August", supposed Wembley curse etc.
2018: Lack of rest/preseason following World Cup, hasn't looked sharp since returning from injury etc....
Yet he still scores more and more each season!
I'm not saying he's at 100% right now, but I'm also not too concerned.
Indeed every season its claimed he needs a rest as if he's 80 and we're asking him to build the pyramids
If you're talking about England, the club has absolutely no power here... if the player isn't injured, and he wants to go, they can't stop him.
He's living the dream, such a tiny percentage of footballers get the opportunity to captain their nation, i dont blame him one little bit for wanting to be there.
It's not quite the same for footballers though is it? Harry can afford to have his missus not working, they can get au pairs, and his family all live local, and he can afford for them not to work too, and take the kids.It may be nothing but Harry has welcomed two children into his family in less than two years. I don't you about the rest of you but having infants and toddlers around will certainly affect your sleep and increase your fatigue!
