Love the bloke,

But he’s detriment to our team at the moment he has been awful if he loves the club as much as he says he does he needs to be honest with himself and say I am not fit.

His achilles heel has been his fierce ambition. Ironically.

Has pushed himself far too hard when his body has obviously been saying, "brah, imma needs 3 more weeks to recover from that last injury...wtf you doing???"

I'm done with 2 forwards, it has completely taken Kane out of the game. We play everything into Lucas and Kane has just disappeared. Start using Lucas as a winger and leave Kane alone up front. Seriously how many times did he touch the ball?

I think his form has dipped since the back to back hat tricks against Burnley and Southampton over the Christmas period last season.

Yes he scored a hat trick against Leicester on at the end of the season but he is not dominating defences and scoring spectacular goals like he has in the past.

Looks like he's got lead in his boots. The club not investing in a viable alternative and flogging him into the ground may well have destroyed him.

A bit early to suggest it’s permanent, but yeah we’ve brought this on ourselves.

I said it all summer but we should have been all over Plea. Although we probably would have and were going to sign him but we have Sissoko, Nkoudou, Janssen, and Llorente to thank for that.

Explain his England form then?

Watch the Michael Owen interview about his injuries. I personally think Kane is dropping deeper because he can't do what he used to do. I can't remember the last time he turned a defender and latched on to a through ball. He just seems to 'mark' defenders now.

I’m sorry but he’s fucked. He needs 2/3 months off.

Poch needs to grow a pair and drop him
Yup.

But you know Kane's gonna be all over Poch to keep starting him, insisting he's fine, and poch doesn't want to piss him off.

But, he really needs to and Harry needs to face reality.

I don't disagree that something is off but I don't think Lucas up top is helping him any. He's never played with another forward, why are we doing it now coming off his best season ever?

I don't blame him one bit.

I blame those around him and that includes Poch.

Would be very interesting to know if it's a permanent condition or if it's a fitness/form issue. If it is permanent then we also have to adjust our tactic to play to Kane's current strenghts. Not expect him to take the ball and run with it, but rather have movement around him and set him up in the box. Him dropping further back into the team and become the next "old man Rooney" will not take us anywhere.

But you know Kane's gonna be all over Poch to keep starting him, insisting he's fine, and poch doesn't want to piss him off.

Poch should be very careful, he'll get the blame if our results suffer, not Kane.
He's the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, not just Harry Kane.

To save Kane and us this season and next he needs time off now. Give him the time off from today. Bite the bullet because if we do we will be better off for it in the future.

Kane Looks fit to me, he's just not getting any service and is closely marked. Salah isn't looking so great this year either

Dropping far too deep for me, playing up on his own with three behind worked before and should be the same now but it isn't. The mind boggles at the moment.

No way, he didn't use to need service, that's what made him special and world class. For half a year now he's no longer been explosive, you don't see him power past players or finish from insane positions like he used to. The question is whether he needs a couple of months with rest and training, or whether it is a permanent issue due to injury - which would be a massive shame, though also would mirror Alan Shearer's career, who also lost his explosiveness at Kane's current age and had to adapt his playing style. It was also the end of his 30 goals seasons though. Guess players that need to have service doesn't have 30 goals seasons.
