Oct 2017 spurs 4-1 Kane 45 sprints

Sept 2018 spurs 1-2 Kane 7 sprints ?

The evidence is there in black and white for whatever reason the guy is f*cked.
Wow, pretty mental when you see it like that.

That performance last year was peak Kane, he destroyed their defence that day. But I seem to remember he ran himself into the ground and was subbed.

Close, he ran himself into the ground and got a hamstring injury.

please send this guy off to Dubai or wherever for a few weeks before he breaks completely, he's got nothing left in the tank

Looks like he's playing in divers boots. Doesn't seem to have the pace or desire to press and can't hold the ball up either. Doesn't look to me like a situation he can play through because he looks drained. I'd even be OK with Llorente getting a couple of starts for now with Kane on the bench. Llorente won't lead the press either but at least he can hold the ball up.

For me it's not even about whether he is tired or not, I just simply think he's not performing well enough. It's so weird, we all used to say that Kane probably shot too much when he should have passed and such but now I'm thinking I can't even remember the times when he had the opportunity to even get all those said shots in, he's just not having the ball at his feet in the right areas at all. I would love to see him shooting from all over the place again as it certainly beats him not being able to get a shot off at all.

Because he doesn't (currently) have the mobility to get into those areas to shoot.

Harry looks jaded no doubt but I actually thought he got into some decent positions last night but did not receive the ball. The big chance aside I seem to recall him being on for a pass from Eriksen in the second half, but the latter opted for a simple pass instead. It doesn't help that the team are in a collective slump while he's struggling for form.

If the team was playing better I do believe he would have had a couple more goals by now.

You’re probably right, but like others I’m not that concerned with the lack of goals. All strikers go through barren periods. It’s his all round game and the loss of mobility, touch and aggression that’s concerning me.

I'd rest him, the guy is dead on his feet and we need him fit and firing for the Christmas schedule.

Play a fluid front 3 of Son - Lucas - Lamela

We actually played our best football in ages when he was out the team and we beat Chelsea at the bridge.

I'm glad to see him play number 9 more today. He's been playing too much as a number 10 with Moura (and Sterling for England) playing off him. I much prefer Eriksen in that number 10 role and let Kane play a bit further ahead. I think he had more chances 2nd half than he had the last 3 games.

I thought he played well and should of had 2-3 goals . Give him the week of and I reckon we will see him hit a couple at Huddersfield, it’s match fitness he was lacking

Ok, I’m worried now. This is not the Kane that broke through, running channels, pulling defenders all over the shop. At the moment he’s playing like a 32-year-old target man. Just mooching around the pitch hoping for some balls into the box. There’s actually not much difference between the way he’s playing and Llorente.

I don’t know what’s going on - the ankle, general wear and tear, or a mental thing, but Poch has to grasp the nettle and take some action. He talked about the club being brave, but he may have to be too, and pull Kane out for a couple of weeks and get him right.

When Llorente came on the other week I actually thought, "He looks nippy". Shows how slow Kane had been up until then.

Some glimpses of him re-finding that spark again. Good to see

He actually started to run with the ball again in the last ten minutes. That's the best I've seen him play this season. Just to add that Brighton were two down at that stage so there was a bit more space for him to play in.

On a positive front Harry's now in the top twenty premier league goalscorers of all time - joint nineteenth with Dion Dublin on 111 goals.

Yesterday went level with Defoe 5th in all time spurs scoring list on 143 goals. Nothing that remarkable you think. Until you see he’s done it in 147 less games. ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY SEVEN. Let that sink in over Defoe a player regarded one of the best finishers in PL history.
