I genuinely think his top priority (trophies aside) is Shearer's goalscoring record, which at his current rate could be achieved in 4-5 years. Then maybe Spurs all time top scorer (although Jimmy Greaves will take some beating).
I can see him maybe hit that Shearer record and then see where we are. He could go abroad after to win trophies if it comes to it. If we win some trophies he'll stay longer and could go for the Greaves record.

I disagree with that - he has had some quiet games for sure but he has also been absolutely superb and highly influential in more.
I respect your view. But I think we both can agree he can do so much more, which he hasn't so far. We knew he can.

Playing like he has lead in his boots.
It’s a shame to see. He’s not getting away from players anymore, not sharp enough to get shots away too at the minute.

Hopefully it’s just tiredness. I’m starting to worry mane it’s not though. He’s been tired for fucking ages it seems.

He is definitely slower than in the last couple of years. His touch at times just isnt there for example in the first half he was on the edge of the box, he took one touch but couldnt get it out of his feet, last year that would have been one touch and in.

That said, he is playing well now and in the second half was playing further up front and looked far more dangerous.

He had 6 or 7 shots last night. When a finisher as deadly as him does that, it's a very good thing. Very uplifting.

When you play 50 games a season and play 90 mins in 95% of them, everyone has a limit.

If the team stopped fucking about when we are only leading by 1 then maybe we would have the luxury of taking him off every now and then. City and Liverpool often do it. 4-0 up with half an hour/20 mins left. Salah and Aguero take a breather.

I don't know how they're going to do it but he doesn't need backup, he needs competition.

Spot on. Never really understood all this talk about backups. A healthy competition can never be a bad thing. Look at Aguero & Jesus, for example. Jesus came in and Aguero upped his game, having looked deteriorating the season before.

He has not help, he needs dele and he needs to stop playing these England games in international break. I wish he wasn’t captain for England .
