I think Moura will play up front with Lamela, Eriksen and Alli in support.

Shame if there's no way back for Janssen, but you never know. If he's able to earn the trust back in Poch it's possible. I would still have someone play off him though, same for Llorente. They dont score enough to lead the line alone.

It's such typical the timing though because Son would have been the best player to replace Kane. Hopefully Moura is back for Sunday. We need Moura and Lamela at their best like they were earlier in the season when Son and Kane were struggling.

Lamela actually looked pretty good when he played through the middle. Can’t remember which game it was maybe Leicester end last season.

Not sure you can judge from one end of season game where the opposition didn’t really care.

I certainly don’t want our top four hopes and chances of advancing in the CL and getting to a cup final resting on Lamela up front.

Kane injury might be a blessing in disguise. if it is not too serious..he needs a break

A enforced rest would do him a world of good

He has looked a bit jaded in the last few games

Disagree, I think the last month or so Kane has finally hit top form after looking so lethargic at the start of the season. If his previous injuries are anything to go by it’ll take him a while to get back to where he was pre yesterday’s game.

Will Son be definitely back for the Leicester game?

Final is Feb 1st, so he should be back for Leicester at worst, assuming he is fit and doesn't need a break.

They've already qualified so best case scenario is they come as runners up and get knocked out in R16 on 20th Jan. He'd possibly be back for Palace then. QF and SF are 24/25 and 28/29 respectively. QF elim would bring in Watford, SF elim would bring in Newcastle.

Are you sure this is the challenge at the end? Pretty sure this was the penultimate one, as they cleared it forward and the we managed to hoof it back in high. Pretty sure Kane then jumped to header it and Jones clattered into him and landed on his ankle. Could be wrong though

You could be wrong and you are correct, you are wrong

This was the challenge. One player kicks his foot and as the other collides with him he twists his ankle. Was shown 500 times. Still very difficult to see from that clip

No he's just not very good.

still don't believe that poch would bomb him out of the squad completely just because he doesn't rate him, nkoudou still has a squad number and trains with the 1st team but we all know poch has no intention of using him.

The article implies they've had unofficial word from inside the dressing room. 'Harry reckons a month minimum' etc

I get Harry's concern, and obviously he knows his body better than anyone. However, there hasn't been a scan yet so anything until that is just a guess.

Had one myself this morning, no idea how it will turn out. Obviously he'll know his before I know mine though. I'll wait until anything official before jumping to conclusions.

We could also switch to three at the back with wing backs (allowing them to get forward more) then play two of Dele, Eriksen and Lamela behind Moura. Then keep one on the bench or play Eriksen or Dele in the deeper midfield role.

The big flaw in that plan is that it doesn't look likely that Moura is ready to come straight back in if reports are to believed.
