We simply have to buy another striker this january after that news. To not do so would be totally idiotic.

still cannot see Levy panic buying, it's most likely Llorente will now stay until the summer.

I presume Janssen isn't an option

realistically what decent forward will join knowing that once Kane back they'll be on the bench at best, maybe a short term loan possible ?

Awful news. Maybe this is misdirected bitterness, but it says something about Mike Dean that the challenge that hurt Harry wasn't whistled for a foul. His incompetence is infuriating and dangerous.

Whilst this is not the most important aspect of the situation I would hate for us to play our first game in the new stadium without him in the lineup wouldn’t feel quite right

If it is similar to last year (and I know not all injuries are) he came back in less than 1 month but wasn't quite the same player for a good few weeks. It will be tough to know whether to bring him back less than 100% if we are struggling without him.

Sorry if it's been answered elsewhere but what's the latest date on Son's return?

Agreed. Obviously, there'll be business decisions governing the opening, but if I had my druthers, I'd make sure he'd be able to play the first game before opening it.
