Interesting stuff, wonder if we'll panic buy to make sure we don't slip out of CL.
I guess if we still perform to a high standard levy will keep a tight hold of his man purse

Need to run the Ajax three back out to mitigate our lack of options up front and in midfield. Lock teams down on defense and see what you can get out of the offense without Kane & Son.

Tend to agree with this. Our defence and midfield are going to have to be ultra sharp and tight. Less firepower means less likely to score shit loads of goals. Tight defence and win games 1-0.

I notice many point at our lack of depth, but i honestly feel we still have a chance due to our decent depth in offensive positions.

If pool lost Salah and Mane, Arsenal lost Laca and Auba or Chelsea just Hazard they would all be proper fucked. We can still field Lamela/Eriksen/Alli and Llorente/Lucas. Obviously could be better, but definatly a lot worse to.

We should be on the phone to MLS to bring Zlatan in for the rest of the season.

Short-term fix. Proven goal-scorer. Capable of holding the ball up.

Lol@getting cover in.

Fuck knows what we'll end up with, if we can't sign long term targets over months/years, what chance have we got of replacing/covering Harry quickly and economically?

You know nothing happening until deadline day at the earliest, if at all. I'd be spectacularly surprised with anything else.

Of the strikers out there who could we sign?
Id say we go for Lautaro Martínez from Inter Milan.

In the previous two season around now, we lost Kane for a similar period, and I dont think we lost that many.

It's just worse this year cause we're missing Son for a bit too. That coupled with our CM ordeal makes it seem like a big mountain to climb.

Just the latest heap of shit to be thrown at us this season, if we qualify for the Champion's league this season it will be one of our greatest achievements, nothing, absolutely nothing, has gone our way.
As it stands now I don't expect to see Harry Kane playing football until after the international break and if England lose I won't care.
Got to play Llorente now as he is our striker and I expect him to rise to the occasion, we might just stuff the heap of shit back down the throats of whatever fates are shoveling it our way.

Do what we don’t normally do. Pay the agent a very large fee.

It's not like you couldn't see this coming, competition/cover for Harry who we've been overreliant on for a long time has been something that has been needed to be addressed multiple times.

He's been injured before and we've gotten away with it, now we're going to be without him for a long time at a crucial period.

Transfer window(s) brinksmanship/unrealistic target fuck-ups still echoing.

No Champions League next season would be absolutely devastating:

Europa League at the new ground would be as horrible as it would be demoralising (especially from this position).

Pochettino more likely to leave.

Eriksen and Toby would almost certainly leave (though likely anyway).

Harder to recruit players of the requisite quality to remain competitive.

If there is any money now is the time to spend.
