Well I'm sure we can afford him for 6 weeks lol

I actually read it as 6 months. Didn’t bother doing the maths :D.

Actually, whilst we’re still in fantasy land, the more I think about a loan until the end of the season the more I like the sound of it.

Guy would be be invaluable in terms of the little extras needed to get over the line in winning things.

But it’s obviously totally unrealistic for so many reasons.

MLS season starts March 2nd. So that’s the window basically 6 weeks. I reckon he’d be fit and ready to go.

I bet he’s back for arsenal like usual. It’s a lot longer out than I was expecting though.

Why? He's average

I think average is a bit harsh. He’d do better in our team than he would Fulham and he can certainly hold the ball up.

Everyone was saying how we couldn’t get real top quality with Kane around and not being prepared to pay big money and wages for bench players so I thought at £20m ish he was good value.

I don't understand why this is unrealistic.

Its a perfect fit - even if we loan him for the rest of the season and not just 6 weeks.
It's exactly the sort of blue-sky thinking we need.

But we'll try for Werner or Messi or whoever and then we'll have targets lined up for the summer and then...

It’s been the weirdest of seasons. Kane getting injured is just typical of it. Nothing has gone for us this year and yet somehow we are still competitive.

I’d love to think this will spark Levy into releasing funds to help us secure top four. But I fear I’ll be disappointed. Let’s hope Llorente can step up....

He definitely won't be sprinting up.

I’d love it to happen personally, but it’s the high profile type of player that we just don’t go for ( even on loan). Can’t exactly see him fitting into Poch’s team ethic either.
